Well basically I can save on postage if I just ask Edwin to send the QVC & Walmart DVDs to my dad's boss at the Toshiba office in Houston, then they can put it in a parcel and send it with FedEx to the UK and I won't have to pay anything!

The Jewel box edition of TTEOTW, exclusive to Wallmart. A couple of us abused Edwins generosity a bit more by asking him to pop one of these in the package with the QVC items.

Sony'd have used that photo for the Taking Chances CD/DVD's if they'd seen it in time.

It's just the sort of image they seem to want of Celine. I've never seen her wear that dress before though. Plus you couldn't get a more different look to the one she actually has on this DVD. God, thinking about the outfits she wore on that DVD now, she was so covered up!

Why the heck does it take three days to get to Ireland but 6 days to the Netherlands? Im used to the transit time for NL for some reason, but the Ireland thing really shocks me. Its as fast as sending stuff domestically.

Guess you didn't read everything. 5 other people responded to this and were sent it.

I think it will be too expensive for you guys!! I computed the costs and including the costs to have it shipped to me originally and then me shipping it to you, it would cost you $40 USD! Also estimated delivery to me isnt until May 20th so add another week or so before it would even get to you.

 

But if you are still interested; PM me and I will let you know my paypal address. Sorry I wont buy any on credit, only those who have already pre-paid me. I planned on ordering mine tomorrow. But can wait off til Monday if enough of you need those extra days to collect funds.

Well I didn't think so, after all you get the DVD and more importantly the bonus CD for about €32, your looking at an average of €12-16 for the basic DVD on it's own, so that's only about €20 for the bonus including postage . The bonus CD on ebay is likely to come to more than that. The first one to sell has just gone for over €140, slthough granted that's excessive, but I am still very happy with the price I paid.

 

It is strange that I got the package so quickly. Guess the postman had three shredded wheat for breakfast that day.

I have a question =

 

I received "Taking chances limited edition special package" Coffret CD & DVD & Parfum (but with no postcards, is that allright??) REF 88697 13714 2 from the USA (Ebay).

 

I already had a special version of Taking Chances = only CD/DVD (no special box no perfume) but REF is ALSO 88697 13714 2 ! (also bought on Ebay).

 

CD/DVD cardsleeve are the same for both items.

 

Now I am wondering if the special version I already had was maybe taken from the special package version and sold separately by the ebayer ??

 

Could someone tell (hope you understood lol) ?

 

BTW are there false version of the "Taking chances limited edition special package" like for the "Ultimate box"?

Another question to those having the "Voices that care" maxi cd from USA

 

I have the impression my art cover is cut on the right :-(( am I turning paranoiac or are there other text/photos continuing on the right (on the right of the attached picture i mean) ?

 

Moreover there is a sticker "Net Proceeds...." sticked on the original text below in the midlle (see pics)

As far as I know the CD/DVD you have is the same. I also have this as a stand alone item as well as my copy of the special package, but that is sealed so I can't say that they are exactly the same, but I'm 99.9% sure.

 

I am also certain that people do sell these seperatley from the special package, not sure why they would split them. Probably because it makes it look rarer than you think, as you will not see that packaging for the CD anywhere else. Pesonally I love this package. Especially the photo of Celine with head bowed and the necklace down her back.

 

I ain't ever heard of any fake T.C. special packages. You should be fine with that.

 

I have the USA maxi CD of VTC (9 40054-2 Giant) and actually I do not have the sticker, mine was printed correctly. Looks like yours was incorrectly worded in some way and they put the sticker over it to correct it. Nice one. As for the cut, it's not very noticeable but I think I can see where you are coming from. On the opposite side, the yellow bordere on the left of one of the photos is missing (looks like it was trimmed a bit too close during production.

CD/DVD ARE the same, but I wanted to know if my stand alone CD/DVD is normal and original and was to be found under this reference without the special package in retail store OR if this is not normal/not original and part of special package and sold as a stand alone by this ebayer (i.e. was I "fooled")?

 

As for voices that care yes the yellow bordure on the left of one of the photos is missing so I am reassured to see that your copy is like mine!!!
