I am absolutely fuming. I got my mum to order an Ultimate Box for my birthday in May from Priceminister (for €80). I asked the seller beforehand about the disc trays and they said the 2 CDs were on the left and the 3DVDs were on the right. THEY LIED!!! The package arrived today and it's a bloody fake copy! I have already set up a claim on Priceminister for conterfeit products. Also, the disc trays had been torn off the box!!

 

So now I have 2 fake copies! When will I ever find a real one?

Priceminister rejected by claim for conterfeit goods, saying the seller's description was very detailed and that I shouldn't have bought if I didn't trust the item!

 

So I've set up a new claim, this time for damaged goods, as the disc trays have been ripped off the back, leaving 4 big tears where the glue was, and there's no way that would have happened in the post. I just hope this works!

 

I also sent a message directly to the seller asking if I can return it and they said no, so I'm very upset at the moment. My mum said she might have to claim on her credit card to get her money back if Priceminister and the seller are not going to cooperate!

Real sorry about that Tim. Can you let us know who the seller was so we are all aware. I do hope that the damaged goods option works for you. You don't deserve to be conned like that after being so careful to ask the question you did.

 

Also, I don't suppose this is going to make it easier to get your Mom to use her credit card on priceminister again.Which is a shame, I've never had trouble with them before either.The language barrier can sometimes lead to confusion with foreign sellers, but it sounds like you made it clear.

Priceminister accepted my claim and told me to return it to their address in Paris for inspection. I included a document with the question I asked before the purchase about the discs and her response, as well as pics showing the difference between the genuine and fake Ultimate Boxes, and a pic of the damage. Hopefully I will get my money back!
