The DVD sold 32 800 copies in its first week in Quebec. Best sales for the 1st week in 2008!!!

Once again, this is a CANADA DVD. Some of these artists are UNKNOWN in Europe, let alone France. So it's a bigger deal for Canadians. I am sure it will sell pretty well all over the world, but I do see why they made it 'limited edition' for Canada.

This DVD is not available on Celine Dion Boutique!!!!! I just want to buy it, but now it's unavailable! Do they really plan to sell this DVD for only 10 days???

I just got the DVD in the mail today...I had ordered it from celinedion.com...I've watched about the first 40 minutes so far, and it is simply amazing! I'm so glad that I bought it!!!! I just love seeing the goofy side of Celine!

I'm a twin mommy just like Celine!

Does the dvd menu from the version on the multmedia section look better? :giggle:

I happened to be in Montréal the day it went on sale and I got it right away. It's an amazing DVD with really good backstage footage and a great show in Quebec City. If you have any chance to get your hands on it, you should buy it. It's really a good DVD to have. There is lots of Céline on it.

I recieved my shipping confirmation from Amazon.ca earlier this week, and when I clicked on track orders it said it won't arrive until December 17th!!! :o

 

It said it was shipped on Nov 17 so it takes a month to reach the UK!! :angry:

I was in the same situation but I got it straight away as it's a Celine DVD and it's limited edition, and it's an amazing concert!! :thumbsup2:

My copy arrived from Amazon.ca today!!! :jump:

 

It only took a week to reach the UK - I don't know why they said the estimated delivery date was Dec 17! :confused:

 

I'm going to spend the rest of the day watching it!

I have already encountered a possible issue. On the menu there are only 3 options: The entire DVD, Chapters, and audio options.

 

Personally I think that's stupid, they shpould have seperate options for: Before the show, the actual concert, then after the show. Sme people may just want to watch the actual concert, but the only way you can do that is by chosing the chapters...

Is there a lot of good behind the scenes stuff?

 

There's about 30 mins of before the show footage which includes her and other people in the studio singing songs, Celine getting that award where she wore that robe, and the soundchecks the previous night etc. I couldn't understand much of what was said, though. :glare:

 

 

LOL I hope I'm able to navigate the menu! I will be looking at it like :huh:

 

The menu very simple :thumbsup2:

 

When the actual concert starts it feels like the beginning of the DVD cos the intro says Celine sur les Plaines and a Feeling Production etc. It's so weird why they didn't seperate the concert from the bonus features! :huh:

I'm still watching it. I'm on 'Mon Ange'. Just another hour to go! :yawn: I had no idea how long this concert was!

 

The songs witout Celine are a little boring. Although there are 2 little backstage clips in between songs showing Celine getting changed, like A New Day All Access. The only really fun parts are the beginning and end cos it's got more Celine!
