I have finally bought and watched the Live a Quebec DVD. I'm glad it's part of my collection now.

Mes Aïeux are my favourite act!

I revieved my copy of Live a Quebec today! It is WUNDERBAR! Really well made. I love it. the dvd menue is the best. :flowers: :wub:

Hey, me again. the "Celine sur les Plaines" DVD is so special, so differant. Ordered it from Quebec. Cant get it here.

Dont think it has been released international.

I watched the beginning and the end of SLP today and I looooved it! :wub:

 

I thought it was amazing to see when Céline was practicing with all the guests before the show. I looooved it!

And then ofcourse in the car when RC was singing :wub:

 

This DVD is soooo worth it!

 

Just wish it had english subs :(

The first anniversary of the DVD release in Canada is just 2 days away!

 

I bought the collectors version (LAQ) from amazon.fr this past summer, watched it and haven't been online for a while now 'cos my PC didn't work, so I haven't had the chance to say that this DVD IS GREAT! I loved the rehearsals part, although I didn't get a word. :giggle: And what about the audience? I guess I've never seen a largest one in my life! :w00t:

 

Is there a Blu-Ray disc Edition? If not, are there plans to release it? Thanks. :flowers:

When the DVD was released as Live a Quebec in France, there were supposed to be 3 versions: DVD, DVD Collector's Edition (digipack), and Blu-ray. However the Blu-ray was never released... :down:

 

 

It is so amazing. I've watched the ending 4 times now :)

Well, as I said above, the Collector's Edition is in a digipack, and yes it has 10 photos of Celine during the concert and backstage (I don't think they're postards)

 

 

 

I have Celine sur les Plaines, and I'm getting both versions of Live a Quebec for xmas. I can't wait to be able to watch it on the big TV downstairs, as it's region 2! I bet it will sound amazing in 5.1 surround sound!

I'm not getting another version of this.. I think. I've got two different versions of A New Day, Live in Las Vegas DVD and I think that is enough.

 

But who knows if I walk by a different version somewhere, I just might accidently buy it :giggle:

I thought that I was the only person in SA that ordered this DVD (also ordered it from Quebec). It is so good to know that there are other South Africans that enjoy Celine's French songs.

 

I absolutely love this DVD (even more that the Las Vegas DVD). Everytime I watch the duet between Celine and Ginette and Celine starts to cry, I start to cry... so special... Oh and the part where she sings with her family just gives me chills. Her voice there at the end... :in_love:

 

The only thing that annoys me is the fact that there are no English subs.

Yeah I agree, why no subs. I mean Quebec is a part of Canada where english and french is spoken ugh!

I had a problem playing the damn thing on my DVD player. When you go and buy a DVD player, they tell you that the DVD players in South Africa can play any DVD from any zone... well aparantly not. The DVD was zone 1 and my machine didnt want to play it. I first had to get some code from the manufacturer... At least now I can play anything on that machine.

South Africa is Region 2.

 

I know it is region 2. But many of our DVD machines play any DVD, no matter what zone. I took my machine to the manufacturer and they entered some code in there and now it plays any DVD. I even made DVDs fom all the videos I downloaded from the forum and the machine plays that.

ohh that sucks!! I like watching on my laptop and downloaded a region free DVD player :)

I also have a region free DVD player that I can watch on my tv so that's good. I think it's only USA that doesn't allow region free players.

 

Archambault.ca will only ship to USA and Canada :( I had to find a friend in USA that wanted to ship to Iceland but they have great service I think.

 

Now we just have to make Quebec make english subs on french DVD, specially since Céline is popular everywhere and english fans love french music as well
