they should sue her make-up guy/girl for making her look so old and tired in this concert! too much black on the eyes and the brows are so

seriously looking. (and that is also because Celine herself looked serious most of the time)

She looked so much better/softer in most of the concerts in the taking chances tour!

She was tired in fact that night :) . You can feel that in her voice too, her voice was extremely tired that night :ermm:

you know we all thought that Amazon got it wrong that the special edition should have a bonus DVD, well Celinedion.com have posted in the whats going on section this message:

im really confused to why the offical site has got it wrong too. are you sure the special edition doesnt have a extra disc lol

Funny you should talk about that because answering a question in the afternoon of the show during a radio interview Céline said that she usually does her own make up most of the time but she said "not today because I don't want to have to worry about that today and I want it to be perfect." "So a great professional make-up artist "Scott Barnes" will do that for me this time".

I guess she came to know a lot better her feature and can do it herself better than anyone of those well-knowed make-up artists. Difficult to be sure of anything in this business even when you put your trust in the best of their profession like Barnes. But I guess she has to that, she can't do everything herself always.

The concert is awesome. I love the part with the Dion Family!

 

Btw. They changed the sound sometimes.

I had already some videos of the forum, including Destin... And in the solo part of the Electric Guitar, the player made a little mistake. You can see it on his face too.

On de DVD, the guitarsound is changed in a new one.

So where does the other disk go? The French edition was supposed to be a two-disc package, but now it turns out to be only one. Where do they hide the other one??????

They don't hide the other one. There is only one disc! :)

They have definitely improved any little sound glitches- on Si Deux Existe, Claude noticeably went off key in the key change on the mp3s we got from the live TV recording but on the dVd it's lovely and smooth- also- some of Celine's husky notes on Tue Moi with dan Bigras- the big power notes are definitely smoother. I liked it unpolished.

I didn't know that.

 

At Divas Las Vegas they changed it too. The thing we have live from TV has a lot of mistakes, wrong notes and etc. But on the DVD/CD... Everything is perfect.

I know Cher sang all of Believe live (apart from the verses) on TV, but on the DVD it was only live from 'well I know that I can do this' onwards...

 

Were Celine's performances bad on TV? How could they correct them when the DVD audio is clearly live and not from CD? :confused:

Does anyone know why the european version of Sur les Plaines, live in Quebec is on 2 discs as opposed to the American one disc edition. Is their extra footage or something?

All versions just have 1 disc.

I finally got to buy the dvd in Paris on Monday, and I think it's just fabulous..!! I haven't yet had the time to watch it entirely, only some parts, but I absolutely adore it. I think there's a good chance this will become my favourite dvd of her's before the actual Taking Chances -dvd comes out! :)

I think she actually looks fabulous in Sur les Plaines. Like in all of the TC concerts. :)
