a friend has sent me an email with a pic of the new DVD Collectors edition.

 

bye the look of the photo, it looks like we are in for a big treat! :) Mini posters as well by the looks of things :clap: :clap:

 

im so excited now :)

 

I carnt wait to get my hands on this lol

That's fantastic! If it's any indication as to what's possible for the Taking Chances DVD, we should hopefully get a true collector's item when it comes out.

A black DVD case, yuk! I much prefer the clear ones! :down:

 

That's strange, cos that picture was on the 23,99 euros product, which should be the Collector's Edition. That picture should be on the basic edition for 19,99....

Yes actually.I wanned to say the same thing.This is just the cap right now which it doesn't have to be and they don't usually have correct details until it releases out.The digipak should be on collector's edition for sure.. :msn-wink:

I just got my copy of the regular edition in the mail. I was amazed at how fast it got here.

 

I only watched a about half of the DVD, but I love how much fun she had with the whole concert. She looked, and sounded fantastic!

I wanted to preorder this DVD on amazon.fr, but there are two releases mentioned there and I cannot guess which one is the limited edition. Can anyone help with an opinion?

The annoying thing is that they both have the same price, I wouldn't have had a problem deciding which is which if the one was a bit more expensive then the other - then I would have known which is the limited edition with the mini posters.

Also has anyone noticed that on the inlay sheet in the regular SLP dvd there is a picture of Celine standing there with her arms out (she is in the shiny grey trousers and grey top- the one on the on top of the sheet) and she would normally have her microphone in hand- but the producers have just put a block of rectangular shaped colour over her hand to hide the microphone!!!!!! It's looks so stupid! They didn't even attempt to photoshop it properly- literally just whacked on a skin coloured block of colour... ! Ooops! :confused:

So exciting!! :clap: I'm hoping I'll get a job soon, so right at the moment I get my first paycheck, I'll order the DVD from France!! I was thinking about buying it in France, since I'm going there for July and August, but as I'm not sure whether I'll be able to watch DVDs there (will be working as an aupair in a family), I think I have to order it before. Cause I can not wait til next fall!

I might buy the book (L'énigmatique Céline Dion) then in France, to have something to read there during my stay. :D

 

I love the title too, that it's "Live in Québec" instead of "Sur les plaines". ^_^

Ι had ordered the dvd from Canada and they brought me...but the surprise is that my european dvdplayer can play it!!!!!And i was wondering why???They european dvd players cannot play canadian dvds.Is there any explanation for that??Im very curious! Edited by Snowhite

Ιt doesn't say any region!I was looking about it before i ordered the dvd.The dvdplayer was made in Greece as i can see from the website www.comet.gr .Anyway it doesn't say anything at the back of the case.hehe.I can consider myself very lucky...Cause as i see i m the only one with this advantageous dvdplayer. :P Edited by Snowhite

That's a spetacular concert and I can't wait to have my DVD in my hands...

BUT, it was released only in Canada wich is REGION 1 and it doesn't work here in Brazil.

Does anyone know if it will be realeased for another region???

I have no idea. they do have different catalogue numbers... so maybe you can email Tf1 and ask which one is which...

 

on fnac there is the Collectors edition, but it's 4 euros more then the normal version... unfortunatly it doesn't state the catelogue number

There are 2 discs in the 2nd one, so that's the collector's version..
