What's cheaper to ship to Europe:

 

Amazon.ca or Celinedion.com??

 

Well, Amazon.ca charges 7,71 Euros (approx. $9.85) for expedited international shipping, while Celinedion.com charges $19.51 for the same shipping method.

That's why I decided to order the DVD from Amazon. The total price for my order was 25,50 Euros (approx. $32.46).

They shipped mine too, and CelineDion.com is so :sick: .

I got this DVD on amazon for 28.44$ include shipping and in CD.com I'll get it with much more!

Mine has been shipped to. But since it is R1, Iäll have to make a R0 copy on my PC in order to be able to watch it :( Edited by Der_Griffon

I live in Chicago and just ordered the DVD from Team Celine with standard shipping for $6.90, for a total of $26.89 paid with Bill Me Later.

I preordered dvd 10 days before it was released out and then it was out of stock.I was so angry that i canceled my order and bought from ebay.com which cost 1 dollar less than from amazon.ca.Thanx god that they have shipped to me too.After that i saw on amazon.ca avaliable again,two days after i canceled my order.I was so annoyed because they didn't inform me about.They just said that they will ship as soon as avaliable and that could be for one month.How could i have known it!But now,i'm happy in any way.I'll have it soon. I'm from UK too and I've ordered a copy.

 

The DVD is Region 1 NTSC, and UK is Region 2 PAL, so it won't work unless you have a multi-region player, but even then I don';t think it would work because it's NTSC (TV signal) where as Europe is PAL.

 

 

However, you can use a very good free program called SmartRipper to rip the entire DVD to a .vob file on your PC in it's original quality :)

However, you will also need this free program called DVD43. This program stops your DVD drive thinking it's playing a DVD that is not in your geographical region, and therefore allows SmartRipper to do it's job :D

A couple of point though, I watched it live on TV August 22th with about 140,000 people on Indigo because I don't have Bell TV. I don't know if you took it into account. It was a great number because McCartney's very good show earlier did 80,000 viewers on Indigo. Maybe those numbers include also those who paid for those in the days after on Illico too. :hmm: They were both available for a couple of weeks.

 

Also there were 80,000 more people in Lévis watching Céline live that night on giant screens. I guess that's why many articles say she did her show in front of 300,000 people.

 

Anyway just wanted to add those facts, that maybe most of you already knew. :flowers:
