What do you say to this world tour so far?

I personally don't think celine should have ''IYA'' or ''WWRY'' in the american leg of the tour, I found that they were boring and out of place in the show, so lets hope they are replaced by better songs for the dvd and for the fans who have yet to see the show....

But I have heard that ''IW'' will definatley be in the in the U.S setlist, which is cool!

I wonder if she'll have any surprise guests during this leg, hmmmmmmmmmm.

yeh i didnt like we will rock u so much but ive never liked that song - I wish in the US shows???? why???? she spent 5 yrs singing that. I hate it its too showy and cabaret!

I cant see her changing the queen section - i fanythings constant throughout all her shows from tours gone by its always the songs she sings that are just for the concerts. Such as twist and shout etc.

and if anything Im Your Angel should be in the US leg seen as it was number one there wasnt it?

refering to martin on the last page saying the set list was old. I agree but its weird coz when she came over here the press were slating her for singing her new songs saying things like "there was some obligatory new material we had to sit through before we got to the songs we all came to hear" its like she kinda almost has to sing them - and its a shame really....i dunno.

TSMGO should suffice as a tribute to Freddie Mercury. WWRY doesn't suit her at all.

The fact that she hasn't bothered to give live renditions of TPOL et al. or even record new playback versions tells us that she's tired of these "classics" by now. If she had her way, she wouldn't put them in the setlist but her team is too aware of what her general fanbase wants to hear.

I agree... I am not crazy about We Will Rock You and I think that it should be dropped from the set list.

It is likely that I'm Your Angel will remain on the set list for the shows in the US.

Yes, IYA was number one, along with IACBTMN, BYLM, TLYM, TPOL, ABM... ANDHC and TTWII were also number one in the US, but who knows if they'll ever be performed as part of the US tour.

I would like to see CFTF and TJTWIM on the set list more often... Though TT was not a great success in the US, I would love to see Celine perform the song!

Someone in her team is all I can say....whether its 100% true and actually gonna happen, is another matter!

As we've seen during the start of the european tour celine tried and test quiet a few different songs, some worked and some well didn't....lol.

We shall wait and see!

How can you expect Celine to sing, in USA, a number-93-on-Billboard song like 'Think Twice' or 'Only One Road' and remove a top-spot hit like 'I'm You Angel'?

Not only die-hard fans come to see her in a concert. How can you know they hate 'I'm You Angel' like you do? Have you ever conducted a research?

If "I Wish" goes into the setlist then the whole concept of "taking chances" is a huge joke. Talk about NOT taking chances, talk about taking the EASY way out, and talk about being UNcreative. Seriously, what the heck is going on with this tour? She may as well have stayed in Las Vegas if she's going to perform that many songs from A New Day... in the same fashion. Even the choreography for "Rive Deep, Mountain High" is practically the same (from what I've seen on YouTube). :rolleyes:

Anyway, I loved the performance and I really hoped that we would get it on DVD.

But I do think that she'll record a new music video during the break and I still think it's the Eyes on me will i am thing.

Well...yes she should remember the lyrics, but she didn't that night!

Also in Italy she messed up the first line of RDMH, she sang "When you were a young boy, did you have a puppy, only doll I've ever owned"

I love her when she does these sings!!! She remembers me she's human !!! (sometimes I forget it ... her voice is something out of this world!!! :in_love: ).

I seriously wish there were more Celine originals in the tour's setlist. Why rehash a song that was in her Las Vegas show for nearly five years ("I Wish") that she didn't even sing live 99% of the time when there's so many other amazing uptempo numbers in her repitoire? Songs such as "When The Wrong One Loves You Right," "Misled," "Just A Little Bit Of Love," and "That's The Way It Is" are a few that come to mind. If it's the fact they don't sound "good" in their original arrangements onstage then change them up a bit like what was done to "I'm Alive."

If someone from Feeling Productions, Sony, or any other company affiliated with this tour is reading this forum I truly hope they take what I've said above to heart. It will be to the benefit of the fans AND the tour.

I dont mean to be harsh, but if you dont like the way Celine lip synchs and you have known this for a while, why pay out the huge expense if you think it is too expensive. I dont understand if you are that opposed to her doing this surely you wouldnt go to see her perform!!!

dunno? maybe i mean she has always had the same band pretty much so i suppose whichever drummer was before the one she has now was the one haha.

The drummer's name was Peter Barbeau. Check this link out for more information, but I'm not sure how/when/if it was resolved. Céline's "statement" is interesting though.

I've really enjoyed the concerts I've seen so far, and the lip-synching issue has never bothered me on the night because Céline's stage presence made me forget all about it! It's only afterwards, when listening to the MP3s that people have posted, that I've noticed. It's a great pity that she doesn't sing 100% live but while there are people who are prepared to go and see her despite this (and I'm one of them) she's not going to change!
