"My Love: Essential Collection" album - Official Topic

If they are releasing My Love why don't they just release the version from Taking Chances so the TCH album will be back to the charts. They could also add the 3 new tracks to a re-released edition of Taking Chances.

Got some info. Tracklist is going to be different for Japan and the rest of Asia (as always!!). The Asian (not Japanese) release will have a slightly different release than the Australian one. India is getting the Australian edition and the Asian and Japanese editions will be an import here and so for most of the countries in Asia

 

Release date is October 29th for India, no confirmed release date for Asian and Aussie editions yet but I think it will be Oct. 28th like the US.

seems like the new gems are great and are on thhe 2 disc for us hard core fans, sony rnt so bad

 

maybe sony have made the 2 disc edition specifficly for the hard core fans because the average person listening wouldnt be interested in unrealiced material like us hardcore fans. this is so great!!!!

yes but 2 disc don't have 26 song but if 17 song on 1 cd in total it makes 32 song and not 26.....

And correct title for this compilation? Amazon UK and US states My Love: Ultimate Essential Collection and My Love: Complete Best. Japanese Amazon states both versions with Complete Best. I don't know, what is chinese Amazon. Official information from Sony BMG Music Entertainment (Germany) GmbH is Essential Collection for both versions and I really can't wait for japanese issue for this album with different tracklist (maybe title). So, the winner is...?

 

There Comes A Time (Soldier) is probably Let Me Be Your Soldier. Maybe I'll Be Your True Love or Will Never Go Away will be probably My Love (New Version)...

This is not the tracklist for the UK. It's listed on the Amazon UK as an import.

And it has the same tracklist as the one listed on Amazon.com with the release date October 28.

So I'm sure this is the U.S. tracklist. And it all makes sense, just look at the songs.

 

I think it's safe to say that we have the U.S. tracklist for 1CD and 2CD. I just don't know why there are only 26 songs on the 2CD version. They could add few more.

As you can read, Amazon.co.uk takes the tracklist from Amazon.com because the product is IMPORT from USA, they still don't have their own local product listed. Don't worry.

Well for sure this US tracklist looks a bit more promising, hehe. IKILY should actaully be there, it is a gem and put together to honor one of the biggest in movie scores. Still miss I Surrender, and surely Think Twice (but I guess that's for the EU) and Only One Road should really be on all versions since it's her own My Way...

Darren, can you confirm that There Comes A Time in fact are Let Me be Your Soldier? If you are allowed to of course.

 

Personally I think "Let Me Be Your Soldier" sounds much better than "There Comes A Time". At least from a standpoint where I haven't heard the song yet.
