In the past year we have been vomiting over the videos for Alone, Eyes On Me and now My Love - all really cheap and crap videos! I know it's more difficult with the tour and that but I'm really disappointed we don't get any proper videos anymore! I hope they dub the live video with the new studio recording, it will sound much better. I hate the live EOM video as the CD version is way better. Quote

A live music video is only great on rare occasions, and this really is not the time to release one. No one will bother to play the song. Everyone else have music video's, even if they're really bad. Christina Aguilera's music video for "The Voice Within" is really calm. She's just sitting there, singing. That would be enough. Why is it so difficult to shoot a proper music video for the song? Live music video's is just too cheap, but I guess this is what they have come to. I love Celine, which is why I hate this. Darren, when we'll be expecting any real news? If the live video is all we get, I sure hope is live, and no playback. Taken from Cologne would be good, it was a perfect performance there. Quote

When I was at the Sony BMG Italy office in Milan last July, the responsible for radio/TV said TV music channels will never air a video like that, because they saw it as a performance rather than a music video. Shamrock_1982 Posted September 11, 2008 at 08:19 PM Author Posted September 11, 2008 at 08:19 PM (edited) Celine, was back in the studio, did charities events, as well as rehearsing for the outdoor concert in Montreal in August, during her ''time off''!!!She was entitled to time off also, to do her own thing with her family, as she did.... after all she had been touring the world for the last 6 months, and was just begining to embark on the u.s leg of the tour... As others have said its dissapointing theres not a brand new video,but its not the end of the world.... shes only human, and she will shortly take a year off!!!!! Even the ''brand new'' Taking Chances music video, didn't help to get that single high in the charts, so lets just give her a break and support her, shes a busy gal, and this is another album for our collections! It fits the song, as does the telethon performance of "My Love."Only some hardcore fanperson (ha, ain't I politically correct?!) would think of most of Celine's video clips as anything other than crap.
