If Sony releases a 1 CD edition only, you hate them for that, now that you got a 2 CD edition as well, you hate them because 2 or 3 of your favourite songs are not included. You always hate someone for something. That's getting very boring now!

 

Why can't you just enjoy the music of Céline and let the others do that too?

GTSW it was bad for the album a mistake as a single and now in the greatest hits????? ...HYEBIL not my cup of tea either ....CTM ...nice song but not for this kind of album....TFTEISYF .....wroooong....not a hit but an extra on a previous greatest hits even a cut out of Las Vegas......jajaja and LCMM definitely the Viagra's song it won't give up ......Does the Celine Team really think that it was her biggest hit after MHWGO??? Im soo glad to have all of these songs in one cd , i dont have ANY of them! lol j/k well guys this collection is for people who like Celine but are not HUGE fans like we are. It's a nice compilation if you ask a non-Celine fan.

I'm not angry because I miss any music that i love. I'm angry because it's the same thing as always and ONE new song! ONE! Where is let me be your solider? Sony it's mercenary. Old songs and ONE new? C'mom we knew there's more. I hope one day sony will paid atention to celine fans. They could make The first cd one the best of and the second with some rarities and never released songs in respect of the fans. But no.... It's the same thing EVER. Actually I have to say, the songs I'd really consider essential on this one are

My Heart Will Go On: I think everyone knows why it is

All By Myself / The Power Of Love: Some might pick on these songs not being originals, but Celine's versions are definitive. Just listen to "All By Myself" I don't think anyone gets this song as good as Celine does.

It's All Coming Back To Me Now: This is Celine's tour de force über-genius song. It is essential, can't deny it. It will come back again and again.

A New Day Has Come: This is the essential new Celine: stripped off excessive over-use of reverbe (I know people loved her for that in the 90ies), going for a straight and catchy sound. She came back with that song - and look where it has led her

River Deep Mountain High: Well, the song itself is essential, but in my opinion it is essential even more for being a testimony of the "almost-collaboration" with Phil Spector

 

as for the rest: interchangeable, exchangeable hit songs (they could take anything from her back catalogue and label it "essential" doesn't mean it is)

I wouldn't consider My Love (Studio Tour Version) as a brand-new song as we already know it.

Im annoyed that ''If I Can Dream'' didnt make it on there, but I don't think that Elvis's people would have allowed it!

The rest of the songs on there is no big surprise to be honest considering the concept, but I have to agree with other fans that ''is'' and I think '' iagltow'' should have been on there...

I'm still very angry, furious to be accurate.

I'm not complaning about the "old" hits, except for some exclusions such as "OH" , "IS" and "WDMHBN". It's the fact of ONE and only ONE new song what annoys me.

One Heart, The First Time I Ever Saw Your Face, The Reason, Seduces Me and Alone, why are they there? At least "One Heart", it's so upsetting because Sony isn't listening to the fans at all. Look at how many people requested I Surrender, and One Heart is what they come up with? The person in charge really needs to get fired, because this is basically just All The Way one more time. As this is a compilation album, the least they could do after including Celine's biggest hits are listening to the fans! Why did we post our own tracklist for this when they don't even bother listening to any of us? I really hope this is the last album Celine records for Sony.

 

Again, as this is a compilation, they really should listen to the people who love Celine Dion's music the most. The fans, and what we want.

I quite like this tracklist! No big surprises but no really big mistakes...

 

"The Reason", "Call The Man", "River Deep Mountain High", "The Prayer", "Dance With My Father"...

 

Of course I don't understand why to include the terrible "One Heart" and forget "I Surrender"... but I think I will survive to this...

 

Now I just hope that "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" will be the full version song from the "Falling Into You" album.

That version was included on the Complete Best in Japan.

 

It sounds quite abrupt when the cut it at 'But you were history with the slamming of the door', but I do like the final 'noooow' because the back ground music all winds down and it sounds quite cool.

Because "One Heart" was a single and "I Surrender" wasn't.

 

They still don't need to release it over again when it's bad. To be fair, it was a flop. A big flop, and if they can correct the mistake by not dragging the song with them on any album in the future. That'll be wise. The songs that never became a single from an album shouldn't be thrown away, at least not when she's not recording much new songs for this album. Sony should really use these songs for all they're worth instead.

fans want also other songs but they dont know it for sure

 

BTW they included all radio single songs so their tracklist makes sense
