Honestly, I don't like the tracklist at all....

I'm very disappointed about the lack of WDMHBN or IYAMT and NBBMH. Such a pity!!

 

And I'm asking what are OH and HYEBIL doing on this album?!

 

And the number of new/rare tracks leaves much to be desired as well.

And why is Tell Him and The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face doin there except taking up valueble space?!

 

And I Surrender!!!! Where the f*** is I Surrender?! Seriously! Ain't even funny...

 

And Unison and Where Does My Heart Beat Now - her first English hits!

 

The rest is ok, but what i mentioned above is curcial.

 

And Alone being on there is embarrasing, why even making it a single in the first place, I knew it was doomed to haunt her forever then, I mean this is Hearts greatest hit. Not cool.

 

And why is PQTME in this tracklist - I didn't see MHWGO on ONCP?!

Sony wouldn't do that. They obviously don't care about this album or else they would have but a much better tracklist with about 5 or 6 new songs like ATW!

 

The people at Sony were probably blindfolded then chose a load of songs out of a hat!!!!!

 

I'll still buy it but I'm really disappointed. If she is having a break after the tour we want a f***ing good CD to enjoy while she's away, just like ATW.

Actually, that's what I thought.

Now talking about what's essentially missing, I could only think of two: "The Power of the Dream" (singing at the Olympics isn't that "essential"?!) and the virtual Elvis duet (I'd call that an essential moment in Celine's career, but I guess there's no studio recording of that one)

What about the other new tracks that have been mentioned? Where did they come from and why were people so sure they'd be on the album (yes, please I admit I didn't bother reading the whole 500 pages of this thread so enlighten me)?

Looks like "A World to Believe In" movie version will be Japan only. Well, too bad, I was a little excited about that one. Great song, but well, nowadays these things tend to pop up somehow somewhere

I think it's pretty good but with few exceptions: Umm..I'd take "One Heart", "Goodbye's", "The First Time.." out and replace them with "I Surrender", "Where Does My.." and

"Unison".

 

I'm quite upset that "I Surrender" is not included....

thanks Darren for all your work and getting the info for us, generally i think the track list is ok, but im struggling to see why Y&I TFTEISYF and GTSW are on the album. Maybe they just didn't think the new tracks were that great. I really hope this 'NEW' version of My Love is good, the original is pretty perfect in my view and I would hate to see it ruined.

 

Once again though Y&I really?? was it even released as a single outside the US and Canada? I know it wasn't released in the UK or Ireland

I think it works for an essential album: TCOML, FIY, LTAL, ANDHC - these are her essential albums and they take a good deal on that compilation.
