Thomas Posted February 28, 2026 at 06:00 PM Posted February 28, 2026 at 06:00 PM (edited) Bit of a mega dump, filling in some of the gaps in the past few years. I found some of these on starstyle.com which does this kind of thing but for all celebrities, really great site and worth a look if you are into fashion, so big thanks to them. Thomas Posted March 1, 2026 at 03:21 PM Posted March 1, 2026 at 03:21 PM What do we think about this dress from the Immortality music video? I think it's using this stunning corset by legendary corset maker Mr. Pearl, paired with a separate ballgown skirt. Note the distinctive v shaped bust, the flowers around the top and the drop beads on the shoulders. Thoughts? 1 Quote

There was always something bold and beautiful about her during that tour, if anyone is bored it would be fun to rewatch the world tour DVD and study what I'm saying, but after much analysing and trying to google the name of the style of her strappy shoes, and discovering strappy heels are often called gladiator style, I thought that's it! Her overall look was basically a GLAM GLADIATOR style.( Look at a classic gladiators tunic, sandals bracelets straps etc and add heels and some bling 😄) Very bold and strong with a georgous glam look. Quite a clever move for presenting herself again for a world tour after being stuck in Vegas. It gave a strong powerful wonder woman look, maybe it was also a nod to the fact that her theatre was a Colosseum. Didn't Rene ask Annie Horth to come back not long before this world tour to pull the outfits together? I read somewhere Annie said what a mad last minute rush it was, bringing it all together In fact the whole outfits of the Taking Chances tour were found by Frida. So it's definitively worth clicking through the pages. Since Frida started the thread in 2008 it must be at the beginning. The dress on the picture you posted is Balmain, Spring/Summer 2008, RTW, Look 30 (https://www.gettyimages.at/detail/nachrichtenfoto/model-walks-down-the-catwalk-during-the-pierre-balmain-nachrichtenfoto/77227182?adppopup=true) Annie Horth found quite some pieces for Céline in that collection - partly for the tour, partly for other purposes. There also can be found the famous pink dress (https://www.gettyimages.at/detail/nachrichtenfoto/model-walks-down-the-catwalk-during-the-pierre-balmain-nachrichtenfoto/77227281?adppopup=true) Quote

drove all night Posted March 2, 2026 at 12:38 AM Posted March 2, 2026 at 12:38 AM OK ... yay ... I'll gladly join in the revival of that beloved thread. Frida really inspired my interest in fashion and how fun it is to try to find Céline's wardrobe pieces. Some findings became easy over the approx. 18 years I'm following that hobby - but some are really hard to find. So the file with the title "Someday I'll find it" is still quite full. But when I find something out of it - sometimes by pure chance - it's really fun feeling! I do hope the "thieves" will not take the findings to post it without mentioning the finders! So, for today I do have some bags. 5 Quote

These were just via Google image search! I uploaded the picture to the reverse image search function and I browsed through some of their "matches" and I saw a Bebe vintage vest. She did wear the Bebe brand back then so I remembered the name. Same for the Hunter boots, well they are just wellington rubber boots you can buy from Amazon, so one of the more affordable items in the closet. Quote
scarletpimpernel Posted March 2, 2026 at 11:48 AM Posted March 2, 2026 at 11:48 AM I'm so glad Celine has felt free to have fun with fashion, exploring etc but I hope Annie knows we'll be forever grateful for her looks because they were so 😍😍 The minute subtle details of just how each piece sat on her body, and suited her perfectly. What would be the best words to describe the looks on her/ how they made Celine look... Elegant,Sophisticated , Hot, Bold Any other good descriptive words? Quote
scarletpimpernel Posted March 2, 2026 at 12:24 PM Posted March 2, 2026 at 12:24 PM I think I gravitate to Annie's looks after doing Carol Tuttles Dressing Your Truth character analysis and dressing to suit your type, Annie did a good job with that with Celine being ( I think) a type 4/1 (dominant type 4 and secondary type 1) on Carol's character analysis which I think is also mine. On a side note, I think that's also why I read between the lines alot with Celine, Carol Tuttle shows how to analyse other people's characters even by looking at them to be more understanding of each other, I'd be interested if others here know of that website and thought Celine was a 4/1. And compare the description with deeply analysing Celine in interviews etc. It's a super fun hobby especially while there's not much else happening and you feel like you can really understand the real person. (I think the Aline film did do a good job in showcasing Celines true character) Celine is actually mentioned in Carol's book 'It's just my nature 'as being a type 4 person Quote
