I just started on a new school and I haven't told my classmates yet that I'm Celine obsessed...because I know what their reaction will be .

Next week though I have to make a powerpoint presentation about the kind of music I've listened from when I was little til now and they are going to show it on a 2 by 2 meter screen. It's just that..I'm absolutely not looking forward to it.

Actually tha majority of Celine's fans are very young!The teenagers fans that each country has,obviously are not many,but the total of the teenage fans that are aound the world from all te countries is huge!!So i can't understand why she is considered uncool

I am 15 years old I love Celine Dion, and a lot of people think I'm weird (to say the least) because of it. When I saw her perform in 2002 on her "A New Day Has Come" special I was captivated, and have loved her ever since. As I was reading some of the posts here a noticed that there were a lot of young guys and girls who like Celine, and I was wondering if anyone of them are made fun of for liking her. I hate it when someone says that she "sucks". How do you deal with it when or if you're riddiculed for liking her?

I'm 26 and have been a fan since I was 13. Anyone with half decent hearing will admit she is one of the best (if not the best!) vocalists in the world. If other people don't like her or her music, then it's their loss! We know we're on to a good thing!

Yeah, thats a big thing. She's considered a Diva, really, so people always think that guys who like her are gay. I am gay, lol, theres nothing wrong with being a bonified Celine fan and being gay, but not all of us are.

Celine isn't considered cool because of Rene. She could become anything in people's minds. she was a blank slate. at the beginning when she was just getting popular people thought she was cool and talented. but the more she kept talking abour "brothers and sisters" and old husband she dug her own grave.

I know, I hate that stereotype, im not gay and luckily no one has called me gay because I listen to Celine... but surprisingly even though I'm the probably biggest Celine fan in my whole school as far as I know and that not many people listen to her, I was surprised that lots of students knew who she was and I didn't expect them too, but also lots of people know who she is because I talk about her so much Like the other day as I was leaving Spanish class while talking about Celine with my teacher one of my friends came in and he's like let me guess, you're talking about Celine? And I said yup, and he was like youre so obsessed Romic then he said Celine is one of the most famous singers in the world because she's known internationally and I was like she sure is! I love getting Celine conversations started, I dont know why its just fun lol..

Yeah, same thing here. I don't want people to be like... "wow, you like Celine Dion... you're so gay!".... so I don't tell many I'm a Celine fan.

I first heard Celine when I was 5 years old and would dance around the room to her songs for hours - my mum was happy coz it kept me entertained for so long! I turn 20 on Friday and my love and admiration for Celine has grown and grown over the years. I am so proud to be able to call myself a Celine fanatic and I dont give a stuff what other people think! But i don't really care, as long i like her, only that matters.

Well, i feel she's tons better than the current "teenage" singers nowadays.

One thing for sure, Miley will never ever ever measure up to Celine's standards when she was the same age as Miley.

Im 13 and i started liking Celine when my mom would play My Heart Will Go On in the car on her All The Way A Decade of Song CD. My mom also loves Celine. She has her Lets talk About Love cd and this summer i bought her self titled cd. So, i was like..................well i dont know exactly but i was young. MHWGO is still one of my favorite songs. We (me and the girls chorus) actually sang it each time we had practice (twice a week), and since the teacher saw how much we loved the song she added it to our list of songs to sing at the spring concert at our school. I was 9 when i first heard her when my friends mom would come get us from school i would wait for It's All Coming Back To Me Now to come on the radio my mom liked the song aswell so for christmas my dad bought her the CD but she only cared for It's All Coming Back To Me Now and Because You Loved Me so she gave it to me and i've been a fan ever since i'm 22 now.

Hi, i'm 15 years old, I have loved Celine for about two years now. no one has really teased me for being a fan! My old teacher used to call me celine, and sometimes my parents do to! my friends does not have a problem with me being a fan. And i'm not afraid to tell everyone how much i love her because i'm so proud to be a fan of her, she is the best thing that's ever happened to me and that will never change !

I'm 13 years old and have been a fan since I was 10 and saw loved TC. Then I saw her on Oprah and REALLY LOVED HER!!! One of the girls in my class who used to be my friend said that Celine was too old for any 13 year old to like and that she sucks. I asked her who she liked and she said 'Weezer'. I told her that they suck although I've never heard of them. She said well at least they aren't old. I said back well at least Celine isn't ugly. She was never my friend again but I don't care.
