I would personally prefer something new than a rehashing of old stuff with a new song. I mean, I guess technically they only used the scenery of Vegas itself for moreso her French material and in English they used it for Taking Chances.....so the general public wouldn't be as tired of Vegas nature as much as me, but she has used it for Courage promo already.

 

But if we are talking a music video from the stage...any stage but particularly Vegas too, I feel like that's very much been done with Celine.

 

 

I think "Say Yes" could have had a very beautiful music video in the Montreal nature. Or "For the Lover That I Lost" or "The Chase"

I dont mind her taking pics or shooting videos in the desert or the Vegas scenery. I really enjoy it and actually cannot get enough of it these are beautiful natural areas. Now that we are talking about it, the Grand Canyon is actually still missing

 

If you like her among the trees in Montreal, you can watch the video for Le miracle lol but its very basic and by far not as spectacular as Contre Nature, which is a masterpiece

I think people enjoy scenery which is more foreign to them lol, I just feel it's been done so much. Also, it reinforces the idea that Celine is some Vegas act rather than a worldwide image.

 

It's true Le Miracle had forest stuff, but that lots of light + fall season + a ton of random people // including city imagery. I was imagining a very low-light, different fashion, more organic music video in nature. More stripped back, but with some creative element added which I have not yet imagined lol.

 

But, the topic was footage they could have very easily filmed or had already filmed i.e. as Vegas ended and as Courage was being finished but before the tour Obviously if we are talking about grand music video ideas and possibilites, this conversation would be a lot wider. Of coure Contre Nature is more amazing than Le Miracle. In fact, doing a Montreal nature video or Quebec nature video would be a chance to do things right instead of the very very basic attempt they did on Le Miracle....which I still enjoy

It's great to hear even a few more seconds, it really helps paint a picture of where the song is going. Great to have. Personally I really enjoyed the more dramatic version of the string intro we see on the other version, but the vocals remain very compelling. That's the word I come to with this song.....it's so compelling! I really feel her in the words.

Yes, there is no doubt they worked for several weeks on multiple takes, each with varying differences in the instrumental layers and vocal delivery, but I’m glad to have some additional information about the time frame. If anyone here has more details, please share!!

Since we know how Rene and Celine documented everything important on video, I’m more than certain that their camera crew was there when she recorded the songs with Phil Spector and they have extended video footage of everything in their archives. It would be a dream come true to have access to the archives of Feeling productions and to see what they god there.
