PuraVida Posted April 20, 2021 at 02:26 AM Posted April 20, 2021 at 02:26 AM I must say, the Memphis crowd was amazing. They knew so many words, and Celine got all those white people to get up and really dance all concert long lol 1 Quote

Loup_garou Posted April 21, 2021 at 01:22 AM Posted April 21, 2021 at 01:22 AM What do you guys think was the reason they decided to shoot the IACBTMN video in Pague? I think that it certainly wasn't because of that particular castle, because there are many impressive castles closer to them. I think the main reason were the costs of the music video. Shooting it in Prague probably cost them way less that it would in the US. "How did you end up in Prague? So we have this very complex idea and I can tell it's not going to be cheap, what has been written down on paper, and it needed to be somewhere very fabulous and all the rest of it. In March, while I'd been putting these ideas together, I'd made my first trip to Prague to shoot Green Day and at that time, it was a very cheap place to shoot and there was a producer and a bunch of people at a production company who had access to all these incredible set dressings and whatnot because the Communists had just left quite recently, maybe only a couple of years before, so it was very accessible and very affordable and I knew it had all this fantastic propage: pictures, fireplaces, all the stuff we'd need. So, I convinced everybody to go and shoot in Prague and I said, you know, this is the only way you're going to make the money work, to get his idea. But I wasn't really thinking it through because the whole shoot is at night and if you go to Prague in June or July, I think we were there over July 4th weekend, I can't remember now, but there's only six hours of darkness. So you're doing a night shoot without very much night, so I'd actually screwed myself royally right at the beginning (laughs)." 4 Quote

stevo Posted April 21, 2021 at 01:52 PM Posted April 21, 2021 at 01:52 PM (edited) I agree- Céline’s social media channels are already like the Obituary Pages of the Old and Dead- and I don’t mean that disrespectfully. What more can she do or say? She more than likely has not had any contact with him since the album was being produced so it’s not as if they were best friends (I’m assuming...) Popular Post Shaun Posted April 21, 2021 at 03:01 PM Popular Post Posted April 21, 2021 at 03:01 PM I find that "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" is one of the most respected and well known songs for non Celine fans. At the time it was released the song was described as a rock opera and she's never done anything on a similar scale since. Could you imagine an almost 8 minute song on one of her albums these days? Jim Steinman was responsible for so much of the success the song experienced, even coming up with the concept for the music video. A real highlight in Celine's English career. RIP. 11 Quote Bringing you the world's only Celine Dion podcast show since 2014.Find us on Soundcloud, Apple Podcasts, Spotify & Amazon Music.

PuraVida Posted April 22, 2021 at 04:52 AM Posted April 22, 2021 at 04:52 AM IACBTM is a very unique and historic song in all of music, not just in Celine's career. There are very few pop songs like it. Drama, story, opera, rock, pop vocals....very soft moments and then high moments. And that's before you even get to the music video. Quote
rfkavanagh Posted April 22, 2021 at 07:54 AM Posted April 22, 2021 at 07:54 AM I just listened to the Live in Zurich radio promo album for the first time - is it just the files I have (I don't have the actual CD), or is it a very bass-heavy recording? It seemed pretty boomy and lacking in top-end clarity, which was surprising considering it was theoretically broadcast-quality. I suppose it wouldn't have mattered much on a typical FM radio or car stereo! Quote
jpatdeleon09 Posted April 22, 2021 at 08:28 AM Posted April 22, 2021 at 08:28 AM (edited) Well most of her performance sounds like her mic is in heavy bass. I think the best sound live quality i have ever heard was in All Access of A New Day (Disc 2). The vocal/mic eq was so balanced. That’s why i edit her performances when putting it on YouTube. Editing the lows and highs. So it will not sound like she was singing with a cloth covering her mouth because of her mic eq. It sounded close instead of being more open like Mariah’s mic eq. I like her sound engineer. Edited April 22, 2021 at 08:32 AM by jpatdeleon09 Quote

Yes! It’s bad. That’s why I don’t understand why they release that kind of quality. I mean, she’s an international singer. It supposed to be in top quality. If we’re talking about film. Have you seen a film trailer released in low quality? It’s always in HD quality Edited April 22, 2021 at 12:26 PM by jpatdeleon09 Quote
