They're great! :D Was it easy to take pics of Céline or was it challenge because of all the moving around, movements, etc.? :)

 

I'm used to high energy from Rock shows...but they usually have flat lighting - so my settings were alot different compared to normal

ISO 1000 - f5.4 - with a shutter speed ranging from 100-400

 

The stage setup was amazing...I often found I overexposed even with the higher settings

 

My only challenge was the time restraints...1 song doesn't leave you long to nail a number of shots

 

 

So, do you havea Reflex? Uhm... Just a question... If I go there with a camera, Sony Alpha 100, and I'm not allowed to take pictures, do I have to leave my camera in the avenue? Or I can take it with me but not take photos during the show?

Depends on the venue/security. Some warn you not to use it anymore. Some will confiscate it to give it to you back after the show. But they aren't allowed to confiscate it and never give it back.

Papillon90, as long as I understand it well, dbedford got a press pass to take "official" photos at the show so of course he was allowed to bring in as great equipment as he just wanted to. ;)

I guess "normal" audience may have problem taking in a big camera, even in those venues which are not so strict when it comes to those simple, cheap cameras without reflex.

Thanks for all of the video's.I saw Kylie Minogue at the Acer Arena in november 2006 and the venue was packed out all three night's she was there.The arena holds 20 thousand people when full.I had the same problem about taking pictures at the Kylie concert as well.I only managed to get a couple before the security man told me to put my camera away.As soon as they saw a flash it was put your camera away or they'd take it off you.The security at that arena was terrible.The sound system there was amazing though.I managed to record the two Kylie show's and have them in MP3 form now.

Very odd...

 

I saw Kylie back then tooo...and took hundreds of photos and videos...the whole Acer Arena was a sea of flashes...and at Celine I was initially scared to take photos...but everyone else was...so I did...I sat both nights on the floor....and took heaps...I even had a security guy behind me at one stage when I was taking a video of RDMH....

 

The only person that they were a little strict that I found at ACER were Bette Midler...although I still took some pics...not that they are any good.

Hi.I was in section 19 which was on the floor on the first night when they had the sound problem and the show was delayed for about 20 minutes or so.On the recording you can here the man telling me to put the camera away.On the 26'th I was on the tier and managed to take loads of good pictures.Is there any chance that you could please upload the Kylie video's for me and pm me them?Thanks.
