Oh where abouts was Rene? I tried to see her family again on the second night, but I couldn't see them.

 

And we want Celine to dance more, why? I think if she dances too much it'd compromise the vocals...she did a bit of dancing though, and it was so cute all her moves haha.

 

 

Rene was situated around the middle of the floor in the control booth. He was watching the performance from there.

 

I thought Celine danced a lot during the show. Like I said, she has some really funky moves. I wanted the audience to dance more tho, I could see a lot of people sitting down with their arms crossed. Why did those people even attend? no offence but they were acting like they were in a library. During Saturday's show most people were up and dancing in the front where I was. It was soooooooooo much fun, and we hyped Celine up more!

That's so not true about the half stadium thing. Celine sold 21, 000 tickets on the first night and 21, 000 on the second night. They said it on the radio today. I purchased last minute tickets for the second show and everything was practically sold out, I got back row. (First night I had second row) So everything sold out for both shows in the end. The only sections that were empty were the two sections that were practically behind the stage and that was because sometimes the stage in situated in the centre of the arena. For Celine's concert the stage was on one side of the arena and it wouldn't of made sense to sell tickets to the seats practically behind the stage because nobody would have been able to see her. And even then the stadium was packed.

Yeah that's what I mean, I liked the dancing she did, but if there were to be more choreography I think it'd overshadow her singing a bit.

 

I actually found that the audience in the gold section on Sunday night danced more than the people in the diamond section on Saturday! I guess it depends where exactly you're sitting. I guess some people like to observe and others participate. I do a bit of both lol.

From what I saw, overall the audience on Sunday was pretty quite and sat down most of the time until Celine told them to stand up in the end.That's why I think Celine did more moves and was telling everyone to sing etc on Sunday because I think she was trying to work the crowd more, because it was a tough one. That was my view of it anyway. I think overall more people were into it on Saturday. Diamond was awesome tho on Saturday, people were standing up for most of the show. I know my sister and I hardly sat down. And we were giving her standing ovations for every song. haha for me there is no middle ground. I love to stand up and really get into it. But I guess in general i'm very hyperactive and love to dance and party.

I can say with 100% certainty that the arena was at substantially reduced capacity on the Sunday. I cannot speak for Saturday.

 

There is an entire additional tier behind the corporate boxes. I have been there many times for concerts and have sat up there.

Hello everyone!

The concerts were great but the public SUCKS!!! Too bad the fans were scattered in the room!

I was in row 1 last night and people kept telling me to sit down!!!! It's a concert for crisssake!!!!

And I didn't pay first row to sit down!!!! Luckily, we got to see Celine after the Show and she noticed that we were dancing with her!!! So I don't care about the stupid people who were behind me!

We had our cameras so I could get some pics and videos that I'll upload ASAP.

OK guys...here is my review of the most incredible weekend of my life...

 

Most of it has been covered...and this may not make that much sense...but I did write this at work straight off the top of my head...I have lots of photos and some decent video footage...that I will upload soon...and when I learn how to do the video bit

 

Here goes!

Saturday night started at 4.30 p.m. for me when they opened the doors to ACER and let the group of people…all 45 of us that were attending Celine’s soundcheck. We were taken upstairs to our function room where we got lanyards with our VIP code on…with champagne, red/white wine, coke, water, orange juice on arrival. I sat with two friends for about 40 minutes drinking and talking while they had numerous televisions in the room playing A New Day…the DVD.

 

The soundcheck was suppose to commence at 4.50 however they said Celine was running a little late…but at 5.05 they took us down to the stage, we sat on the side of the arena and waited. Within a couple of minutes Celine appeared and came straight over to us. ’Hey guys, thanks for coming…ready to have some fun and be silly….’, she began but warming up…been silly with her band and backup singers. She performed ‘Taking Chances’ almost in full. Testing out the sound then entire time…also sang ‘Shadow of Love’, ‘My Love’ and ‘The Show Must Go On’’ almost in full.

 

She would lay on the stage….kicking and warming up her voice but making silly sounds….she also did Elton John’s ‘My Song’ as a warm up and one other that I knew but have no idea what it is called, not a Celine song though. Mego was so funny and really got into it. She was so so good and the feeling being only eight metres from her was an AMAZING feeling. She ended by coming over and talking to us….and saying ‘I hope you enjoy the show, thankyou for coming….it was lovely meeting you, well actually I haven’t actually met you this time but enjoy it, love you all’. We stayed while she practiced spinning the microphone stand around for ‘River Deep Mountain High’…and then she waved back at us….and we were taken back to our room.

 

We were then given a special ‘Taking Chances’ carry on luggage bag….we had the choice of black or brown. They served more beverages and brought out the canapés. We had many. At about 7.45 they took us down to our door and we made our way to our seats to enjoy Anthony Callea. Anthony was very good but at 9pm sharp….Celine took the stage performing all our favourites…and the usual songlist that she had performed in Australia.

 

She did not speak too much to the audience and did cut a little bit of what she had said in Melbourne and Brisbane…but on the whole it was brilliant although there were a couple of obvious sound issues where Celine had to take out her ear piece a couple of times but it was amazing.

 

After the show…I did go into the city with two of my friends and ended up at the Intercontinental Hotel waiting around with a few other fans….until 12.50am when two black Chrysler cars and a white van turned the corner. I saw Celine's mom in the white van…screamed…and ran towards to entrance to the hotel….Celine got out of the car…Rene Charles, Rene, Linda, Manon…and we sang out CELINE…and she waved and told us to come up there….so we did…and we all had a photo taken with her…she signed my program and my Taking Chances CD. Rene just smiled and waved at us...all in all I was in shock and still am.

 

Last night the show started 5 minutes late. The sound was perfect…she was amazing and interacted with us more…and danced a lot more than she did on Saturday night. ‘All by Myself’ was amazing as was ‘My Love’. The show finished just before 11….and was absolutely amazing. It was the most amazing weekend of my life.

One thing...I loved her performance of 'Shadow of Love' and 'Can't fight the feeling' on Sunday night...she was absolutely amazing the way she moved across the stage.......she has so much energy last night.....I wonder if anyone got a video of either of those songs?
