I think Jaqui covered the review perfectly, so i'm gonna give my personal experience. OMG!!!!!!! BEST NIGHT EVER!! My sister and I are still on a high after that. She is so stunning in real life. Everyone was saying that. Moreover, her voice exceeeded any expectations I had. She sounds incredible live. It's such a strong and beautiful voice.I don't think it's possible for anyone to sound better.

 

I was lucky enough to sit in the middle of the second row. As soon as Celine came out I stood up and the two buttons on, my skirt popped off. The only thing holding it up was a belt!! Anyway. Celine had so much energy, I Drove All Night was so exciting she was moving all around the stage doing the hand movements and pretending to drive. My sister and I were singing and swaying to all the songs. There is not one word we missed and we gave her a standing ovation for every single song. I thought the crowd was pretty awesome. A lot of people were standing up and heaps of people were taking photos! I was happy about that because I wanted people to dance, sing with her and have fun. I soaked up every minute of that.

 

When Celine was talking about how much she loved Australia my sister screamed out "stay forever!!!" and

Celine stopped and smiled, lol Oh and then my sister was blowing kisses at her and Celine puckered her lips and blew back. I stood up for most of the show, we asked the lovely men behind us if we could and they were soooooooo nice they were like "yeah sure!!' Seriously those guys made our night because were allowed to stand up, dance and enjoy the show. We got Celine to look at us at many times throughout the show. She's just so sweet and acknowlegded a lot of fans in the audience. I think she thought my sister and I thought we were at a rock concert because we kept jumping up and down and singing along. When she did "if that's what it takes" in French" my sister and I got so excited we were screaming "Jean Jaques...Jean Jaques!" The band members were cracking up when we were singing in French. They probably thought these girls don't give up, they know them all, lol. I love the guy who was playing the guitar he kept smiling at my sister and I. And at the end the guy wo plays the keyboard gave my sister and I two thumbs up because we yelled out to him "good job" then the violinist and guitar player did the same thing to us!!!!!

 

My highlight was River Deep Mountain high cause Celine saw me jumping up and down and singing along and she looked me in the eyes and this huge smile came over her face while she was singing!!! That MADE MY NIGHT!!! The way she looked at me though was so funny, it's like she wanted to laugh because she knew I was really enjoying the show. The best songs at the show for me were "Can't fight the Feeling" "To Love You More" "That's Just the Woman in Me" "My love" "River Deep Mountain High" "All by Myself" "If that's what it takes" The Queen Medley... oh my goodness I loved it all!!! What an incredible artist and person she is. I have been to many concerts, such as Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake, and let me tell you NOBODY can do a show like Celine Dion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was my sister's 21st birthday and she couldn't of asked my a better present as well. Celine made our night.

 

Also at the end a lot of people threw toys envelopes up on stage to her. She tried to catch one during "My Heart Will Go On"

The Canadian diva was due to perform two concerts in Sydney last weekend at the Acer Arena at Sydney Olympic Park but announced she would not be well enough to go through with them due to a respiratory tract infection.

 

The French Canadian chanteuse opened the concert with her hit, I Drove All Night.

 

Dion, 40, apologised to her audience after her first song.

 

"It's not always easy to perform a song but cancelling a show is harder," she said.

 

The songstress sang her first hit in a short black dress adorned in silver jewels.

 

Fans cheered when Dion followed it up with her hit, The Power Of Love.

 

At one stage she praised Australia saying "your country is extraordinary".

 

After five changes of costume, Dion finished the concert with her hit from the Titanic film, My Heart Will Go On.

I generally prefer her hair darker too, but she seriously looked so beautiful last night, and she was so sweet and amazing, I don't even care!
