Black Kitten Posted February 11, 2009 at 11:31 AM Posted February 11, 2009 at 11:31 AM I don't know. But honestly... it's not as good as we are used to by Madonna. She keeps on playing the guitar, which makes songs as Borderline, Hung up, Human nature and Ray of light awful. I've been to six tours. (Only missed Virgin Tour en Girlie Show, which I did see on video/dvd of course). My favorite Madonna tours: 1. Blond Ambition2. Girlie Show3. Drowned World4. Re-Invention5. Confessionsi didn't notice it before. it's quite surprising to see the Confessions Tour is your least favorite tour. imo, it's by far her best tour in her career. during Confessions era, she experienced the popularity she have never experienced in years. it's one of the high points in her career. not to mention she sang almost every song completely live. My ranking would be: 1. The Confessions Tour2. Blond Ambition Tour3. Sticky & Sweet Tour4. Girlie Show 5. Re-Invention Tour6. Drowned World Tour7. Who's That Girl Tour8. The Virgin Tour Quote

amyja89 Posted February 11, 2009 at 01:07 PM Posted February 11, 2009 at 01:07 PM I just went searching for tickets to see her at the O2 and got offered literally that same seats that I have for Britney in June. Only difference... Britney Spears = £49.50Madonna = £175!!!!! My jaw dropped! And because of the layout of the stage, the view for the Britney concert will be closer anyway! Quote

Black Kitten Posted March 23, 2009 at 12:05 AM Posted March 23, 2009 at 12:05 AM is GHV3 title already confirmed? they should use the original working title of The Immaculate Collection, "Ultra Madonna". but they should have given Devil Wouldn't Recognize You or even Voices a chance to be heard. these are 2 of the standouts of the album. *sighs* Quote

Lymon Posted June 5, 2009 at 12:57 AM Posted June 5, 2009 at 12:57 AM Full demo of the song called Revolver http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fzd-MvM4jMU...player_embedded It's not Madonna on the track, it's a singer named RaVaughn, but Madonna will be laying down her vocals for the final version. It's a really hot song, edgy and modern. Nothing groundbreaking, but it's a 100% guarenteed Top 10 hit. Quote http://i51.tinypic.com/2uf4r5f.png

Lymon Posted June 20, 2009 at 11:11 PM Posted June 20, 2009 at 11:11 PM When is the first single to be released? There's no confirmed date yet, but Holiday is going to be included in the new European leg of the tour, and there will be elements of the new song Celebrate in it, so we'll be getting a sneak peak soon. Also, for anyone who hasn't heard, Sky 1 in the UK will be broadcasting the Sticky & Sweet Tour on July 3rd, one day before Madonna starts the new leg at the O2 on July 4th. Why not leave out Heartbeat, Candy shop and Spanish lesson? They were no hits and Hard Candy is not in the charts anymore. Yep. Holiday is gonna have elements of Celebrate and some other song, Dress You Up is gonna be in rock form, and Frozen is gonna be in dance form. Well I wish they'd leave Heartbeat in since that's a great song, they should have taken out Spanish Lesson instead of Heartbeat. And I think Candy Shop is a great opening number. I think they're taking out Hung Up because the rock version didn't get such a warm response. I liked the guitar numbers a lot, but if it wasn't getting a good response they should have just put Hung Up in it's original form, because it was a big hit in Europe and i'm sure a lot of fans are gonna be disappointed not hearing Hung Up in any form. Lymon Posted July 4, 2009 at 02:22 PM Posted July 4, 2009 at 02:22 PM The setlist changes are confirmed. It will be Holiday with elements of Everybody and a Billie Jean dance segment, rock version of Dress You Up, and the dance mix of Frozen with elements of Open Your Heart. There was an exclusive show for Net Jets firm and this is a blog from one of the people that went: Posted by IconGeorge on Icon Well I have some great friends, and was lucky enough to see the show at the o2 this evening (Friday 3rd July) with 199 others! I feel so blessed to have been able to see this, it was like a dream come true as only 200 people were there. So where do I begin... I left work, and headed to the o2 after a shower. Well I expected a big red carpet and loads of press, but turns out was an actually un-advertised and low key dress rehearsal for a selected few. I thought I wasn’t going to get anywhere near the stage, and wasn't bothered was going to be an amazing experience anyways! So we get there and it's an open bar, so we have a glass of wine and wait by the doors nearest to the floor entrance. M was meant to be on stage at 7 so we was expecting to be taken into the seated area for around 6:30 but was told M was running late (hmmmmm love it, happens all the time!!!) So I was shocked at the amount of people that were there, hardly anyone! But still worried about where we would sit. I was told that the first row of catwalk was reserved (damn!) so when we was let in we rushed past it only to find it wasn’t reserved (damn again!) but nether the less secured a front row catwalk seat in A3 row A seats 40-41! DREAM. To our shock horror it turned everyone on the way in was told sit where you want and they did... in block C or B3 row X! They were so stupid, for half the night we were the only ones in block A3 rows A-G! Dream come true you may say, but annoyed me that ppl would waste an opportunity like this (although ppl did go to Row A of B2!!! So we are standing there and the lights go off, candy screen comes on... Still no one in A3!!! Stage opens and there M is on her throne, looking as amazing as ever (same costume as S&S round 1) Still no one around us. It is like this most of the first section until ppl start to get into it (aside from us who throughout the night are the only ones singing and jumping and going mad!) After the first section it goes into the old skool section where the outfit is the same. During Get Into The groove M refers to me and my friend as "I can see there are fans in the audience as they know all the words" and winks at us (AMAZING!) THEN it's into Holiday/Everybody.... WAIT FOR IT... MJ TRIBUTE.. BILLIE JEAN in the mash up (not celebrate) although M dances and doesn't sing! Still an amazing thing though, was loving it! Straight after this comes dress you up, and it delivers so much more than borderline even if it is still done on the guitar! I loved it, was classic M! The rest of this section remained the same! The next part of the show was identical to S&S round 1! Which I loved as it still contained Spanish Lesson! HAHA I love it! No costume changes so far, and well, sorry to say, the next section was same costume and wig! (Maybe she is saving it for tomorrow?!) HOWEVER, the next section goes on the same as the first leg of the tour until.... Ray of Light is moved to Hung Up's spot, and the most amazing version of Frozen (dance mix) is mashed in with Open Your Heart! An all dance (no guitar) number directly after Like a Prayer which I must say is as breathtaking as LAP. I won't spoil it anymore but WAIT and see! The show ends the same but in an arena it is soooooo more intimate and amazing. The barrier on the catwalk is sooooo far away from the seats and there is sooooo much room! I am going to upload some pics now, so they will follow. See you all there iconers tomorrow...xxxx LOVE YOU M AND ICON, THIS SHOW IS AMAZING! Quote http://i51.tinypic.com/2uf4r5f.png
