Black Kitten Posted October 9, 2008 at 02:50 PM Posted October 9, 2008 at 02:50 PM can't stop listening to my Like a Prayer cd. i used to really love Bedtime Stories, but as of now, Like a Prayer is my favorite album of hers. it's on repeat since last night! can't get enough of it! life is a mystery, everyone must stand alone.. i hear you call my name, and it feels like... home.... LuisMa Posted October 9, 2008 at 03:13 PM Posted October 9, 2008 at 03:13 PM Hard Candy has really not done so good in the US. But still, 600,000 copies now can be compared to 2 million in the 90s. Quote
GoldenLeaf Posted October 9, 2008 at 08:44 PM Posted October 9, 2008 at 08:44 PM has Taken Chances sold more then Hard Candy in the USA???Of course! Davey84 Posted October 9, 2008 at 09:01 PM Posted October 9, 2008 at 09:01 PM Thanks Vinny!! I knew Céline sells better then Madonna Hard Candy has really not done so good in the US. But still, 600,000 copies now can be compared to 2 million in the 90s. which is really bad considering the exposé Madonna gets! she's always all over the place, but the concerts are not sold out and her album isn't selling well... it's just the name. I wonder what the expiration date of the product Madonna' is Quote http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v75/daveyh84/incognito198701_zpsaaootxh1.jpgRick, ik hou van jou voor altijd!A New Day... has come 28/29 April & 2/3 May 07Antwerpen 13 et 14 mai,Paris 24 et 25 mai, Amsterdam 2 juinet Arras 7 juillet Chances Taken!!!How Do You Keep The Music Playing? - Celine Opening Night March 15th, March 16th

Black Kitten Posted October 18, 2008 at 07:53 AM Posted October 18, 2008 at 07:53 AM is Madonna's upcoming GH just a rumor? honestly, her GH would be more interesting than that of Celine's. she has loads of hits and i badly want all of them on a 2 cd set. The Immaculate Collection disappointed me as all of the songs were heavily edited and remixed. it ruined the groove and the 80's feel of her songs from Madonna-Like a Prayer. if ever this GH will materialize, i hope they'll put the original album versions in it. Ray Posted October 23, 2008 at 09:05 PM Posted October 23, 2008 at 09:05 PM The word is that her Greatest Hits Volume 3 will be released next year. It won't contain new material. As it is a follow up to The Immaculate Collection and GHV2 I guess the tracklisting will look something like this: 1. Die another day (edit)2. American life (edit)3. Hollywood (edit)4. Me against the music (with Britney Spears)5. Love profusion6. Nothing fails (edit)7. Hung up (edit)8. Sorry (edit) (Hopefully an edit of the PSB Mix)9. Get together (edit)10. Jump (edit)11. 4 Minutes (edit)12. Give it 2 me13. Miles away (edit)14. Devil wouldn't recogize you (future single?)15. Beat goes on (future single?) Black Kitten Posted October 24, 2008 at 12:24 AM Posted October 24, 2008 at 12:24 AM i don't think so, Ray. this will be her final release under Warner, so this MUST include her hits from her debut-Hard Candy. it's acceptable if they decide to edit them and shorten the length of her songs, but they should not remix them and add some effects to enhance the song. LuisMa Posted October 24, 2008 at 03:06 PM Posted October 24, 2008 at 03:06 PM My ideal GH from her would look like this: 1. Holiday2. Borderline3. Like A Virgin4. Material Girl5. Crazy For You6. Papa Don't Preach7. Open Your Heart8. Who's That Girl9. Like A Prayer10. Vogue11. Justify My Love12. This Used To Be My Playground13. Erotica14. Take A Bow15. You'll See16. Frozen17. Ray Of Light18. Music19. American Life20. Hung Up21. 4 Minutes Of course it's never gonna happen. Quote
Black Kitten Posted October 24, 2008 at 03:13 PM Posted October 24, 2008 at 03:13 PM it ain't a greatest hits if it don't have Live to Tell Quote
LuisMa Posted October 24, 2008 at 03:18 PM Posted October 24, 2008 at 03:18 PM it ain't a greatest hits if it don't have Live to Tell I know! But since none of them have had WTG or TUTBMP, I had to kill it. Also, I'm not including favorites of mine "Nothing Really Matters" and "Beautiful Stranger" because "Hung Up" and "4 Minutes" were huge hits. Quote
Ray Posted October 24, 2008 at 06:13 PM Posted October 24, 2008 at 06:13 PM Most logical would be including the single edits. And why include hits from her first two greatest hits albums?Warner probably will try to sell those albums as well (again).Maybe in a "cheap" three-box-set: The Immaculate Collection - GHV2 - GHV3. She has enough hits from the last few albums to complete a final GHV3 album. Quote Céline Dion Mariah Carey Madonna Lara Fabian Debbie Gibson Wilson Phillips Linda Eder Tina Arena Martika
