It's dead probably bec. you can't even view the board if you're not registered. What's up with that? The same thing with Madonnanation w/c, I heard, doesn't allow a single word of criticism vs. the Holy Hag.

no that's untrue. i'm a member of that forum (dhenapie is my username if you haven't noticed it ^_^ ), and once in awhile, i post some harsh criticisms vs. Madonna, but so far, i haven't been bashed/dissed there. almost 90% of the members of madonnanation call Madonna "b*tch" and "slut", so criticism is not actually a big deal for them.

The official forum used to be very active and yes, it was free to view right until a few months before the release of E=MC2. And don't get me started on TC. It was practically dead there everyone asking where everyone was Thank heavens we have this forum cos all the competition seems to have bite the dust

So the official MC forum is dead after it's for club members only?

I wonder why most TC members(including me) don't bother to post more there to be "Fan of the Month" there. Maybe the exclusive puzzle is too lame. Maybe if they give me the rare versatile water bottle as the prize I would consider post more there. :xmas_laugh:

The problem with the Einstein album is that its best songs don't match up to the strongest tracks of the previous album (WBT, Circles, Stay The Night, DFAU).

Not completely dead but yeah, it toned down a lot and very few members post there just like in TC. I think my only post on TC ever was a simple 'Hi' and that's it :mdr: Now that I'm no longer a member there, I don't even bother

"My Love" Featuring Mariah to Impact Radio on Jan. 27

The-Dream's new single "My Love" featuring Mariah Carey, from his sophomore album Love & Money, is scheduled to go for adds at Top 40/Mainstream radio on Tuesday, January 27, 2009, according to the newly-updated New Releases list from All Access.

Love & Money is due out in stores on Tuesday, February 17, 2009.

Dupri Out As Head of Island Records Urban?
AllHipHop.com has received an exclusive report that Atlanta-based producer Jermaine Dupri's tenure as President of Island Records Urban Music has come to an end. A formal announcement of his departure from the position, which he has held for nearly two years, may come as early as Thursday (Jan 8).

Speaking on condition of anonymity, a source close to the situation confirmed to AllHipHop.com that Dupri has in fact been terminated effective immediately.

The Island Records Urban Division was created within the Island Def Jam Music Group a short time prior to Dupri's hiring in February 2007. In the position, he oversaw the label's entire urban music operations, reporting directly to label Chairman Antonio "L.A." Reid and Steve Bartells, President of Island Music and COO of the Island Def Jam Music Group.

Having enjoyed tremendous success with Island Records songbird Mariah Carey on The Emancipation of Mimi, Dupri's duties also included providing production for the Music Group's entire roster.

i thought "Skies Of LA" was really beautiful!! i never get tired of listening to it.

"My Love" is cool. i like it. Although i hav to say, Mariah's sounding raspier than ever ...she should get some vocal rest!! i hate it when she does this, "aee/hey" thing in between the ad-libs... she can defenitely come up with somethin better than that! i guess, she got the "aeehh" bug while doin the TAOM tour.

Mariah's Make-Up Mosaic

This portrait of Mariah Carey must have taken a lot of bottle. Literally.

Not content with a paintbrush and oils, American artist Jason Mecier has come up with a whole new way of portraying famous folk.

John's Mariah creation consists entirely of make-up products like lipstick, nail varnish bottles and eyeliner. Remarkably, the picture could be mistaken for a real-life snap of the star.

Mine Again was arguably one of MC's best vocal performances caught on record, but i never really liked that song. it's not convincing at all, and it's overproduced. i don't know how many weeks it took MC to finish the entire song. :lmao:

What do you like about Cruise Control? I think its one of the worse from E=MC²

I love the overproduction of Mine Again as well. That's what makes Mariah so one of a kind. All the layers of vocals on every song. LOVE it!!!!!

I love Cruise Control as well because of the Jamaican accent. It's such a fun song. And has a great summer vibe. Could be a big summer hit. Lots of fans love it.

E=MC2 and Taking Chances are arguably among their best albums. FACT.

this might sound erratic of me, but E=MC2 is miles better than TEOM. if E=MC2 was released as her comeback album in 2005, i'm pretty sure it could have performed better. almost all of the songs (except Last Kiss and I Wish You Well, a nice song, but not a single material) have a potential to be huge hits.

If almost all of the songs from E=MC2 have a potential to be huge hits. Then why ''Bye-Bye'', "I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time" and "I Stay in Love" flopped ? :xmaswhistling:
