I'm not talking about MariahDaily. I have other sources as well but the thing is that I thought that sales are given only on Billboard 200. Strange how when it was still on Billboard 200 it was selling around 3000k and now that it's selling 4000 it's not there... maybe because it's Christmas time and sales are up in general.

The X Factor winner Alexandra Burke mentions Mariah in an exclusive interview with UK's More! magazine, January 5, 2009 issue. The Friday Night Project host and entertainment reporter for More! Alan Carr conducts the interview.

 

Alan Carr: Let's talk about your best moments of the series then. Britney?

Alexandra Burke: I think it was a really good performance for her first comeback. She got really slated and I feel sorry for her. She seems like a genuine, nice person.

Alan: And you had Mariah on as well. I thought 'Hero' was a bit flat and i think you sang it better than her.

Alex: No comment! So you've met Mariah?

Alan: Yes, she was a lovely girl.

Alex: I thought she was reserved and kept to herself a bit.

Alan: Yeah, she never lets her guard down. We spent the night with her. She invited Justin Lee Collins and me to her party. It was amazing. She dances a lot to the music in her head!

Alex: (Laughing) I love Mariah so much but I wanted her to be a bit more... Well, I felt like it wasn't her. I felt like she was told what to do, maybe.

Alan: When she was on The Friday Night Project, she came on and I just really wanted to mother her and be like 'Are you alright?'.

Alex: Her people have to make sure everything's perfect because of who she is. She's not a diva. No way. I read in the paper that they knocked through a room at The X Factor studios for her to have a bigger room. It's not true. She'd say hello to us in the corridors backstage. Britney? She never said hello. Mariah was warmer - which was nice.

I was just going to ask asbout the final chapter lol

 

even if the next album was the final chapter it's probably just a title gimmick to make ppl interested. like how emancipation of mimi got ppl talking.

 

i doubt she will ever quit. she's always been one of those ppl who are very aware of their position charts/sales wise and seems (unlike other singers) to actually calculate the process of getting their next single to #1 to continue some streak or break some record, etc.
