How long can she keep pulling the same old cr@p? When she turns 45, do you think the hip-hop genre will still accommodate her? I think not. Compare that to Celine who has her sights on jazz, quasi-classical, Queen tribute, writing her own songs, being in movies etc. TCH will most likely get outsold by That Mariah Chicken Curry but a decade from now, it's Celine who will still be standing tall.Funny to read some of the old comments in this thread. FACT. this might sound erratic of me, but E=MC2 is miles better than TEOM. if E=MC2 was released as her comeback album in 2005, i'm pretty sure it could have performed better. almost all of the songs (except Last Kiss and I Wish You Well, a nice song, but not a single material) have a potential to be huge hits. MariahDaily is a site, I can't post there... they have something like a forum but no one posts there, it's dead. I'm in a few other forums which are very critical to Mariah so I can say whatever I want there. The ones that are full completely blind stans are at Honey B-fly. I've heard that they ban you if you say something like... I love the whole album but this song. They're really retarted. I'm glad that I've find some really cool Mariah boards. Quote

She finally strips herself of the cheesy 90's power ballad diva image, and she becomes a fresh modern player in the industry. I'm not dissing her 90's music, it's great music(Falling into You was one of my first Celine albums), but it's time to move on and be fresh. She's relying more on the emotion on that album than the notes. In her French music she's always showed that emotion without having to do huge notes in every song, and she's finally starting to do that in her English work.
