I had it in my head that I would get it for Christmas and now I'm not going to I missed seeing the tour and have yet to listen/watch a full song/video from the tour - I've only watched small bits from Alone and All By Myself when she performed in my hometown, but I haven't watched a whole song/video. I want to be completely blown away by the DVD, but I don't think I can remain a TC virgin until 2010. Everytime I see a TC video, I want to watch it. She needs to switch record companies, they have not done a very good job the last several years representing her. This news is incredibly disappointing. I think they are milking her name and releasing useless things just to keep her name out there, but it's ridiculous to release a tour DVD an entire year after the last show. The footage will be a year and a half old by then!

There are dozens of (legitimate) reasons why the DVD can be delayed and only few could be related to Sony. I'm just guessing that Mr. Diamond's Tour was not as lengthy as Ms. Dion's nor encompassing as many countries. I don't know if i'm the only one to think that but i think they delayed the release because of the quality of the concerts : with all the videos that we got from Boston we can clearly see that she's not in shape vocally speaking and therefore the concert lacks fire. For the Montreal concert , i do think they unfortunately shot the wrong concerts ( all concerts seemed great but these 2 dates ). So they have some trouble to create the magic out of these concerts.For what other reason they could have delayed the release of this dvd ??? it's been nearly a year that they shot both concerts. Furthermore I find really stupid to released a tour DVD more than 3 months after the tour ended but that's just my opinion which obviously doesn't count because nobody in Celine 's entourage (record company, René, etc...) care about what fans are thinking. I just feel like...when you are releasing a tour/concert dvd it should be close to the end of the show. Like AND was that same year. Obviously TCWT filming went til the end of the tour so that couldn't happen but it really should be released for christmas sales. That's the best time frame for it. At least we have the photo book to hold us over. We don't really know that its Sony's decision, Celine or Rene may have wanted to hold off for some improvements to the DVD (you know how they are with perfection) or maybe hold off the the year anniverssary that the tour ended...or til the new Vegas show beings. Who knows..there are so many reasons and we don't know that Sony is to blame. I hope they pushed it back for improvements, this DVD better be AMAAAZING for how long we waited. They probably think that the dvd wouldn't sell very well because so much attention is on Michael right now; which it should be!

This should've been released in May at the latest, while the tour was still fresh in everyone's mind and everybody would've wanted the DVD, just like it happened with A New Day... I'm sure it wasn't Celine and Rene's decision. If they really didn't like it, then they'd just not release it at all, not postpone it. It's not like they can record it again, like they did with AND. So I think all hands are on deck now at Sony to work on this project, as there is hrs of footage to go through and edit, then promo etc, and getting it released worldwide in 2/3 months is a huge task, so I believe other projects ( this dvd ) has been put on the back burner because of this... And as I said this decision was made very recently!! Well thats my take on it anyway... Darren. Oh please, Rene is so stupid to continue to work with such idiots ... I'm sorry, but it's true. Celine is probably the artist most profitable AEG (A New Day ... + Taking Chances World Tour = 700 000 000 USD) and also for Sony ... my god, Michael Jackson is dead, it never be again, it's over ... It's so pathetic and disrespectful for MJ and for all the artists who one signed with Sony (i'm sorry for my english - translation with Google traduction)
