I always find it a bit annoying when an artist releases TOO much in a short time frame. It seems to seem more like quantity over quality. So - with the holidays approaching...I almost say it would be better to NOT release this new DVD --- but, rather, promote MY LOVE the greatest hits, the Vegas DVD, etc. in order to drive those sales up even further. Also --- since Celine is on a break --- it is a smart idea to stretch out anything to put for sale. And this world tour DVD is the biggest release she will have until she comes back with new material. So next spring or so would be good. Around the same time she has her baby. It would be perfect.

Why would they do 2 concerts with such similar set lists? I've never heard of that. And they always end up disappointing us.

smw Posted September 6, 2009 at 05:17 AM Posted September 6, 2009 at 05:17 AM It still blows my mind that they never released songs from the original/past set lists from A New Day (such as Fever, At Last, Nature Boy, The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face (when she flies!), What a Wonderful World, etc.). Since they had filmed the concert before - then how hard would it have been to include these songs in the bonus features??? Then - it would not have bene a complete waste of time to film the show before! And I bet they do the same with this release. They probably won't include special performances - like Song For You. Or songs that she did rarely - like Think Twice and I've Got the Music In Me. I want it ALL.
