I doubt that they have thrown it away... I think that almost every concert, where screens were used, are filmed.... maybe not in HQ, but still filmed and kept... maybe one day in 2035 sony or RC needs the money and releases every céline concert out there!

They could make a new DVD easily by the thousands hours footage they have. Just think of the MJ rehearsal movie. But this won't happen any time soon.

Why do you think that Sony is the cause that the DVD is delayed untill 2010?

I'm not a big fan of Sony myself but this doesn't mean I blame Sony for the delay, there a many many other factors that could have caused the delay... Sony's share in the TC WT DVD is very limited... Almost non existant... The DVD is being produced by Productions J in co-operations with Feeling Productions & CDA (both are Céline's own companies). Sony Music Entertainment & Columbia are involved as the record companies who are currently owning the rights of Céline's repertoire.

So it's very good possible that either Productions J, Feeling or CDA is delaying the production or the distribution of the DVD... I'm pretty sure the DVD has to be perfect and they'll take their time to make sure that this will happen... Maybe there are some technical issues? Maybe they have so much good footage that it's hard to chose? However also the opposite is possible, maybe the footage isn't to good afterall and they need to rework the images or the sound?

For short: There are dozens of reasons why the DVD is being delaying untill further notice... It can be anything you can dream of... Yes, it can be the fact that the MJ movie is being released shortly, yes it is possible they want to release something else first... But they again, it's also possible that Céline just doens't want to send an other then perfect disc into the world...

You see? There are multiple reasons that can be possible...

And why not wait a bit longer? It's not that hard isn't? Just have some patience... I'm 100% sure the discs will be released someday, sometime...

I can't speak for the other branches of Sony, but Sony UK have been so amazing, and incredibly kind to me and to this forum over the past 2 years, and I will not have a bad thing said against them! :glare:

I'm going to see this dvd through to its release, and still hope for a uk screening in London before the official release, but as Celine is on vacation and most sources dont seem bothered or are just busy with other projects because of her vacation which is fair enough, its pretty pointless being a contributor at present...

I've done my best and don't feel that currently, I can top what I've done over the past 2 years, and although I'm happy, proud, and think I've done good for this forum and its members.....

I just think its time for a new challenge Celine related!

But who knows what will happen when Celine returns

I aint got a job at Sony yet lol, I'd just love the opportunity to maybe work for them in the future.... it would be such a priviledge and dream come true...... and I'm thinking of applying!

I just have a real love and passion for all music, and would love to work in different areas of music, and sony uk impress me alot and there are alot of really nice and talented people there who I have dealt with.... alot of great paths to take and loads to get involved in and experience, and give it 150% like I did as contributor on forum.
