It,s gonna be amazing. I cant wait to see that! But again they should have shown at least one song from TC. I can't believe that they don't promote it more than that!! Everybody keeps saying it's a great album. Sometimes I feel that they just dont believe in it. I'm gonna be sooooo disappointed if she only sings 3-4 songs from TC on tour. Thats what I wanna hear!!!

Hate to say this, but India (and some parts of South and South-East Asia) isn't gonna get to watch it on the 16th Feb. It will most likely be aired later... around her Asian leg of the tour :glare:

TeamCeline members in the Los Angeles area: Would you like to see Celine perform live during an upcoming television taping? For this show, Celine will be performing a selection of her greatest hits and she will be answering questions from special celebrity guests. TeamCeline members who wish to attend this taping on Saturday, January 12 should send an e-mail to celineinfo@on.aibn.com. The subject line of the e-mail should be 'Los Angeles Television Taping' and you must include your name, address, and TeamCeline membership number. Please make sure to RSVP by January 1, 2008.

 

Could it be the CBS Special? But then wouldn't it say "performing songs from her new album "Taking Chances"? :unsure: Looks like it will be in the Kodak Theatre..B)

 

OMG!!i know its gonna be next week, but im not sure when its gonna be taped..I would love to see it, but im not registered on TeamCeline..How do I do that?? :shrug: SOMEBODY HELP!! I'm already scraping together the 1000+ dollars to catch her at the the Staples Center in December, but an earlier show would be awesome..I hope Im not too late :clap: :kicking:

This has been brought up like 10000X and its giving Celine a bad name. Please stop with the miming "rumors." You can believe its mimed yourself, but let everyone decide by their own account. I personaly will continue to believe that RDMH is live. And if its not at least shes an excellent mimer. (u can't say that about many mimer, even her breath is heard perfectly) :laugh:

And about the breathing... when you're singing live and the performance is being recorded, everything that's going into the microphone is being recorded, breathing included. Furthermore, performing the songs, both live and mimed to previously recorded tracks, puts any performer in a routine. She's got the songs from AND down to an easy performance. To me, it kinda looked like she was trying to mime RDMH to the AND version during "An Audience With..." in the UK, but they were playing the album version. ??? Just an observation.

no, lol, the actual truth is that half of the show is pre-recorded live tracks that celine mimes to (she doesn't mime to any album version in the whole show), and the other half is live, or semi-live :D

anyway, i don't care if she mimed the special. in fact, i prefer her doing it, she can belt out a more convincing performance. Remember guys she's promoting, and she's great at lipsynching, nobody notices, not even her fans so.. :D:D

Actually people do notice and that's where that backlash starts. I'd much rather have a live vocal. She's a born performer ans that always comes across.

I don't know if we can ask her for a live performance on a tv promotion thing

 

By the way Nando, I was reading your posts above, and heyy no way, she's not pre-recording each song every day, there is just one track per song, and that's what she used every night. Some pre-recorded tracks were done in 2002 and some date back from the 90's :s
