What is clear is that the throne will be a bit pared down whenever it happens, that rather than the elaborate "...A New Day" Cirque-style production, this will be a version of her tour.

Yeah, I'm wondering about that too! Besides, would she really sign a new contract before they've even tried the IVF? She's said several times that all her future plans depend on whether the baby thing works out. If she has signed on, that's cool. I'm just saying, I hope she gives herself a chance to rest, and gives the baby every chance possible.

If Celine doesn't get pregnant, Vegas would be the biggest mistake she would do (it also would be if she got pregnant, but at least here she has a reason to want to do it, to raise her new born kid that is)

Make no mistake about it, Celine WILL be returning to Vegas. With the kind of money she made Caesars between 2002-2007 I can ONLY imagine the contract Rene negotiated, LOL.

If the woman is happy and we still can see her perform somewhere, anywhere, why not?! We all get what we want, and remember she gets "the best of both worlds" :laugh: (I just know she's gonna give that speech again).

She knows that her time in the mainstream is so over.

I don't think Céline Dion is in Germany to sign a contract. First of all the HQ of AEG live is in the USA, not in Germany.

 

Her Bombardier jet is allready since March 3 in Berlin. There is a flight scheduled for this night at 02h32AM (GMT+1) from Schonefeld (Berlin, Germany) to Teterboro (New York, USA). Edit: The plane left Germany at 18h10 local German time, the plane probably got an earlier slot to leave

 

The reason why her jet is in Germany is most likely to get maintenance. Although Bombardier is a Canadian manufacturar, they work together with other companies to give planes maintenance.

 

At the Schonefeld airport there is a company located called "LBAS" or more specific: Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services.

 

LBAS is the European service center for Bombardier Jets, however the company is also specialised in upgrading, updating, cleaning, repairs, refurbishments, etc... LBAS has a wide variety of services.

 

Since the amount of time the plane is located at Schonefeld you can asume the plane is getting maintenance and probably an update/upgrade. Nothing to do with signing a contract or not ;)

No problem ;) She wasn't indeed taking vacation in Europe, then she would probably have flewn to another airport ;)

Like said, Schonefeld is the home of LBAS (Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services) and her plane is equipped with 2 german turbofan engines made by BMW Rolls Royce (BRR) (which was a jointventure between BMW & RR, now fully owned by Rolls Royce PLC as RR Deutschland) wich explains why her plane went to service in Germany ;)

 

During the Taking Chances tour she came by her own plane. The Bombardier Global Express is a ultra long range business jet which is capable to flying legs extending 7.000 miles (+ 11.000km). From her home airport (Montréal Pierre Elliot Trudeaux - YUL / CYUL) she can reach near every destination in Europe without stopping. Even Tokyo is within reach from Montréal. Even Sydney can be reached with only 1 refuelling stop.

 

She is probably in her own home enjoying some time off ;)

Actually I would prefer the Airbus ACJ instead of the Bombardier Global Express. A Boeing BBJ would be suficcient too :icon_mrgreen:

 

Unfortunately both the Airbus and the Boeing are a bit more expensive then the Bombardier. You will get a Boeing BBJ (737-700ER) for about 68 million USD, an Airbus ACJ (A319) will make you some 65 million USD lighter while you can gat a Bombardier Global Express (BD700) for as little as 45 million USD. Both in the Boeing and the Airbus you will get a higher interior height (which is nice in my case since i'm +2m tall)

 

The Bombardier is somewhere the top of the businessjets combining a lot of space with a longe range radius (most businessjets have smaller ranges to fly)

 

 

Although you can probably get some reduction on the listprices since there's a global recession and the orders for manufacturers are decreasing B)

It seems that the flighttracker i'm using is not accurate...

 

In fact her plane didn't stay in Schonefeld (SXF) but it seems that it was just a stop for refuelling on their way to Male (MLE). :blush:

Superstar singer Celine Dion says she looks forward to resuming Caesars Palace shows at The Colosseum and family life in Las Vegas!

 

Full details in Vegas DeLuxe’s interview with Caesars Palace President Gary Selesner tomorrow.

 

Gary also revealed that comedian Jerry Seinfeld will pick up some of the open dates between Cher and Better Midler after Sir Elton John’s final Red Piano performances end next month.

Thank u ,been waiting on this, now we can say LET THE COUNT DOWN BEGIN. Should we have a count down clock. Been thinking about this alot lately, just can"t wait to meet everyone. BOY IS this going to be FUN all of us in ONE place.Lets hope that WE CAN fill the hole place with no extras. ONE BIG PARTY WITH CELINE...getting a little excited already.

"If you asked me to" and "Where does my heart beat now?" are two BIG hits that any audience would love to her sing so including those songs in the new set list would be very wise.

 

I'd also love to see "Call the Man" and "Misled."

 

I SO want tickets to her opening night in 2010!!!!!!!!!
