I love this song especially because Delta Goodrem (australian singer/songwriter) wrote it and loves Celine's music too. It's ashame that there will be no video. I understand what you are saying but in the UK although people go on youtube, her videos dont often play on the big music channels of which we have more than 20 (watched contstantly) and this is what helps in terms of promotion. I think people go on youtube once the song has been in the charts and they have heard it and that doesnt help people buy it otherwise "Taking Chances" would have done better. So like everyone else I would love a video but dont think it is neccesary...Radio play, posters and TV ads would though and thats what we need more of. maybe they could release a promo for the album advising that EOM is the new single...that might help Quote

The lyrics are not bad but it doesn't really have a good meaning and the melody doesn't really express what the lyrics say. "Eyes On Me" will not do good in the charts, though I hope it will cos I want all Celine's songs to be popular and famous. But still, "A World To Believe In" would be a better single. Quote

"Eyes On Me" however is not being ignored, it is currently receiving regular airplay on the most popular radio station in the UK and hopefully after Christmas everyone else will follow. If "Eyes On Me" was only receiving a download release I would agree right now, even before its release, that it was going to flop, but as it's getting a physical release that changes everything. Celine could have a Top 10 hit here or even better. It all rests on the amount of airplay she gets and the promo Sony put into letting everyone know when the single is out. Remember "A New Day Has Come" received no airplay in the UK (radio or TV) and yet was Celine's biggest hit here in years charting at number 7, simply because even though it wasn't getting airplay Sony let people know it was out. I fear that this song is gonna be A Cause part 2 and it would be really horrible... I mean, nice uptempo song (I still find it kinda bland) but no video!! Heavens!! When will Celine and her team learn Even with superb albums in 2007, they seem to be thinking that only Celine's name would help sell it, but its not doing anything.
