haha I LOVE the positive thinking! I'm actually flying in that Friday and staying til Sunday so I can be there anytime Saturday! I figured I would just explore a bit since I've never been to Atlanta and then meet you guys whenever! I'm SO excited!!! :D

Happy Friday everyone!

 

The COUNT DOWN is 1 month and 12 days until Celine - ATLANTA!!!!! :clap: :w00t:

 

I am awaiting a call back from my contact at Philips Arena. I will let you know what she said as far as what we can/cannot do to welcome Celine back. Remember, if you would like her name/number, PM me and I will be more than happy to send it to you.

 

I wanted to add a :clap: BIG CONGRATS :clap: to Chelsey on her meet and greet with Celine in Miami on January 23rd!!! We expect lots of pics!! :D

AHH, thank you love! I'm so excited that I really don't even believe it yet! what if I'm sitting inmy seat and its 7:45 and I'm waiting on them to come get me and they never come! OMG i would cry!!!!!

 

I'm very excited about ATL and meeting you all!! =) almost less than a month!

Hey everybody!

 

I hope you all are having a great weekend! :D

 

I wanted to let you know that I found some banner paper yesterday. It is one huge roll of paper that is for sure. Unrolled it would be 52 feet long, however, I know we are going to make two banners, so we can decide how big we want each one of them to be. I also got some letter and number stencils, and some colored sharpie markers, 8 different colors. What do you think about including a picture of ourselve on the banner we make to go in Celine's dressing room? I also bought some glue sticks for that, if you would like to do that. I am going to go to Michael's and get some stickers, and see what other ideas I can come up with there. Let's be as creative as we can!!! :clap:

 

I haven't heard back from my contact at Phillips Arena yet, but will let you know when I do.

 

Oh, and Chelsey, don't worry, you will NOT be forgotten on the 23rd, they will be sure to come and get you to take you back to MEET CELINE!!! :clap:

The weather is CRAZY here right now.....70 degrees today?!?! It would be GREAT if this time next month it was the same temperature!! We wouldn't freeze waiting for Celine to arrive!!

I would love to meet up w/some before the show. I am taking my brother who lives in Atlanta - first show for him!! I just got back from Chicago, IL show. I live in IL. it was really bad weather the night of the show. I can't wait for another show!!!

With as weird of weather as we have been having, I really wouldn't doubt it being warm...that would be so much better! Not only could we stand outside waiting and be comfortable, but we can also drive around with the windows down and Celine's music blasting as loud as possible and scream out to everyone. LOL :laugh:

I'm sure we will all exchange cell phone numbers! Don't sweat it...Atlanta is a huge city and the arena is huge as well, but things are somewhat easy to find. :) You will see that there is a lot of things to do right around the arena.

yea haha i have never been to atlanta and so i will be sorta pretty much somewhat lost. :) i have to be at the venue early too to get tickets so i'm sure we'll all figure it out the sooner it gets!!!

I wanted to let you know that I went to Michaels yesterday and got a lot of stuff to use to make the banners. I am staying at the Ritz. I made the reservations back in June. I would have loved to of stayed at one of the hotels within walking distance of the arena, but the Ritz was cheaper so had to go with the best rate. Thanks for the offer at the Marquis, I do appreicate it! It will not just be me at the Ritz, have friends coming in from Ohio and Kentucky. What are the rates like at the Marquis? It is COLD here today. It had been in the mid-60's / low 70's last week, this morning it was 19. However, they are saying by Wednesday it will be in the 60's again. Would LOVE if the weather would be comfortable on January 17th!! We can HOPE, right?!?! :msn-wink:

Arg! I still have to get a hotel room too.

 

I almost bet though we won't find her at a hotel. I think that if her house in Florida is ready, she'll be flying in and out of there for her southeastern shows.

Would you all like me to go ahead and put the wording on the banners (one to hold up when Celine arrives, and one to go in her dressing room) and then everyone can add their messages and decorations when we meet? IF you do want me to go ahead and put the message on the banners, what do you want them to say, for example....

I'm not creative on banner titles but I think those sound good. My brother lives in Atlanta, and I will be there a day before. I am open to meet early. I would love to participate just not sure how & when? Do you need help in contacting radio station? Not sure if my brother could help but I could ask if you need me to.

Hi!! I'll be in Atlanta with the my little girl to see Celine and she doesn't know yet!! I can't wait to tell her she is going to be my date. Its a big surprise for her 12th birthday which was December 30th. She knows I have tickets but she thinks it is me and her daddy going :-) I will be in Section 7, Row K!! I got my tickets when they went on sale Nov 2007!!! I have never seen Celine LIVE in concert so I am excited about seeing her as well as letting Sarah Grace know she is going with me!!

First of all I have to say.................. T W O W E E K S and 20 minutes from NOW, Celine will be on stage in

A T L A N T A !!!! :kicking:

 

Second of all, Kare, your daughter is going to be SOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED when she finds out she will be seeing Celine with you!! :clap: You two are going to have such an awesome time, and what an experience!!! My seats are in Section 7 - Row J, so I will be right there with you!! See you there!!
