Anyone here going to the concert on January 17th, 2009? I'm planning on going to the concert. I can't believe tickets go on sale so early. Do you think the tickets might sell out fast? I'm hoping on ordering next year, because it's just so far in advance.

So I didn't see any topics on Atlanta...who is going?

 

I am in Section 5, row A, but they didnt tell me the seat numbers on ticketmaster :confused:

 

I was just happy to have good seats. I am kinda worried that the seats are so close to the stage I won't be able to see anything (they are the small floor sections beside the catwalk). Any opinions?

I wanna go to this show but it totally depends on money and where I'm living closer to the time.

 

I can't get my head wrapped around the whole "2009" thing :laugh:

I would like to go to the Atlanta show, but I just bought tickets tonight for Birmingham, AL...they had MUCH better seats available for a cheaper price...I have SWEET seats! I also want to go to the Nashville one!

Hi!

 

I am going to the Atlanta show!! :clap: I have floor seats, Section 7 - Row J. I am taking my great niece (who will be 7 by the time of the show) She has wanted to go with me every time I went to Las Vegas, but her parents wouldn't let her. I also have a friend from Ohio who is coming to Atlanta for the show and she is bringing her 7 year old daughter. The last time Celine performed in Atlanta was at the 1996 Olympics, so it will be GREAT to have her back here!!! :D

 

I would love to go to the Nashville show and at least one of the shows in Florida, but as of right now I am going to one show in Montreal (Aug. 25th) and the Atlanta show.

Wow! The only dissapointing thing is that they are just replacing the dates and arena names but keeping the overall commercial the same.

Going as well...my guess it will either be the Marriott Marquis, Westin or the Ritz, if she is staying downtown. Most likely, it'd be the Ritz, though all 3 are great hotels.

Way cool! That is my most favorite place to stay in Atlanta. I really like looking down the atrium from a higher floor. I still have to book a hotel room for the Atlanta show, I hope its somewhat affordable during that time, so I can stay there lol.

I'm going to attempt to hunt her down at my other shows I'm going to...I haven't bought tickets for Atlanta yet, but I'm going to really soon. I'm just scared to go alone, and I'm not sure if I can drag anyone with me...are any of you going to try to find her that night? I'd love to get with you all for the ride if you are. :)

My name is Elisa and I live in Georgia. I am a LONG TIME fan of Celine's and I will be at the show at Phillips Arena on Jan. 17, 2009. I have been reading about some of the things that the fans over in Europe have done for Celine, and I would LOVE for everyone going to the Atlanta show to come together and work together to plan something special for Celine. Yes, you are right, sooooo many people will be at the Atlanta show. We may not be able to do something specific at the show, but would certainly like to try to come up with a way for her to be recognized (possibly key to the City of Atlanta) though I know she probably has more "keys" than she knows what to do with?!?! ^_^

I apologize, I think my sentence was mis-leading. I didn't mean every single person that will be at the Atlanta show, just everyone that I can get in contact here (and if anyone on here knows others that will be at the Atlanta show) passing the word along / word of mouth will do wonders! Anything is possible, right?! :D

I can't think of anything to do for Celine. Maybe you could send her a gift or something at the venue. I haven't ever done anything like this before. I'm guessing it's probably hard to get in touch with someone who could help.
