Her mum, Rene, and RC was there. She said it is her ultimate dream come true and that she would quit all projects if she could get that role. She even said it on an interview with z100. That said, I think Celine is very talented but she has to work on her talent in order to be in a movie. I'd like her to take acting lessons and really focus on that. I dislike celebrities who play in movies based on their name alone. It's unfair towards people who have studied acting and never got a chance because they weren't famous or into the industry. 7 Quote

The script narrates a part of Callas' life, after retiring in fact...(so Streep would hardly be too old to play the part)Behind the Candelabra wasn't a biopic either, to name another example. Secondly, Celine had her chance, already in the 90's. I wouldn't be surprised to learn (afterwards) the initiators just moved on or something. 1 Quote
