I read in a French article that she mentioned this (about playing Maria Callas) to journalists a few days ago and said that "even if it doesn't happen, it's fine, but it's something I would love to do"... René mentioned he knew this is one of her dreams but he never thought she would mention this to journalists!!! But he said she's an open book and that's why people love her.... So I'm not sure that she got the role yet... She also said "she would love to play Maria Callas and win an Oscar in front of her son and family... Quote

I'm thankful it's a movie role - rather than a stage role - because she can be trained to be really under-the-top and it can be edited. Well, I hope this opens a huge door of even more people who respect Celine. And if it ends up being horrible, I hope they'll have the good sense to shelve the movie! Quote

The notes are very high in full voice and i dont think celine will be able to do it, then again they said madonna couldnt sing evita and she did. I cant wait to see celine in movies it will just add to her superstardom and success Quote
