Angelina's accent is spot on, sounds like Callas, her acting seems excellent also, I'm not sure Celine could have pulled this off, she probably would have needed months of training although I believe that's exactly what Angelina did for this role:

I think Maria Callas as a first film for Céline would have been a mammoth task. I do really hope she does more films though; she was very charming in “Love Again” and I think she was very good in the miniseries she did in the early nineties.

I want that! If she needs to rest from singing. She can do acting for a moment. But if she wants to be better at acting. She can do acting lessons. Because she can act.

I personally am not that interested in seeing Céline act. Sure, I’m interested in Céline doing absolutely anything but the one thing I really want is for her to perform onstage as a singer. If that’s the only thing she does for the rest of her life I’d be (way) more than happy.
