I actually remember watching those two episodes and seeing Robert Reed dressed as a woman.

I saw it on a documentary about Robert Reed. He lived some life. He was actually a great actor.

:thumbsup2: You get a :thumbsup2: for remembering Billie Jean King - now do you recall the singer who wrote and dedicated a song to her and the significance of the name of the song?

Oh yeah... her opponent was Bobby Riggs.

I know Elton wrote Philadelphia Freedom for BJK because she once was on a team called that, but Bernie's lyrics don't really relate to her, so I don't really know what the significance is?

BTW... Her bio on the History Channel was AWESOME!!

You are correct and that's the significance of the name of the song - that it was named for her tennis team and was dedicated to her and the team...

I don't think I'd have ever guessed that Tennis song!

:hmm: Can you guess the name of the actress who was in both the original and the remake of a movie, playing the younger main character in the original and the older main character in the remake?

Okay, how about something easier...

They combined orchestra with rock and roll and had hits songs in the 70s and the 80s.

Who played Annie Sullivan in the original?

Who played Helen Keller in the remake?

I think Annie Sullivan in the original was played by Anne Bancroft

and Mellissa Gilbert (Laura aka Half-pint from Little House on the Prairie) played Helen Keller in the remake.

Perhaps a clue is needed...

:hmm:

One of their biggest hits, from the late 70s, had these words: "But I love you... Oh how I love you"

and one of their songs from the 80s had these words: "I know you're out there somewhere"

If its the moody bloues you are talking about then you have the dates a bit mixed up. Nights in White Satin was from the mid 60s

It is and and that song was the song chosen for the senior Prom in 1977 at the high school I attended which is why I associate it with the late 70s. Sorry for providing incorrect information.

No problemo! Ok, here's one for y'all... The awful new film "I Am Legend" starring Will Smith is from the book I am Legend by Richard Matheson. It has previously recieved the movie treatment twice. Can anyone tell me what the names of those films were and who were the main stars!?

Since we are on the topic of movies...

This woman sang the the theme song for a movie she was in about a school in England. Many years later she re-prised her role and sang the song again for television movie which had the same title as the original with a II at the end.

Can you name:

the singer?

the song and the movie?

and the main star?

Confused?
