I thought the same thing, when you see Heart perform the song nowadays even at around age 50 Ann still has got it and still uses her voice to the extreme where Celine just stands there like a deer in the headlight. For the most part though compared to X Factor her voice was really good and she definitely could have done more with the song! Quote

Then Celine opened singing an abridged album version of 'A New Day Has Come' with the 'a new day...' logo behind her. She is DEFINATELY singing live. Shes singing it softly. Then... they went to commercial.
