You had to be in the audience to appreciate the atmosphere of the occasion, which could never be recreated in a TV programme.

Lipped or not, the true fans there had a great time and none of them have had a bad thing to say about it in this topic.

And as on all TV shows, most laughter and applause is canned and there are floor managers telling you when you should and shouldn't applaud.

 

 

that is totally true! I was in Paris in November, and the only live notes I heard was with Star Academy, but eventhough everything else was lipped... it was still amazing!!! :wub: Céline always puts on a great show, so that you don't care if it's live or not. :thumbsup2:

 

Still I think this show must have been live... I wonder what other 'an audience with' was lipped??!! She knew all the songs, apart from EOM maybe...It should have been much better if Céline recorded this show in Januari, or even on tour!

Loved the show - wish I could have been there with you guys!!

 

Was it just me.... or did she look like she was gonna have a "wardrobe malfunction" while performing Alone?

Of course, it's not like we didn't get a "free shot" in the ANDLV DVD bonus... LOL!!

 

I thought she was funny - but it was OBVIOUS that the q/a part was scripted. Wish they had left the part in where Shane got some sugar and ogled her hiney!! Oh... well... maybe on a blooper reel some day!

 

Just glad I finally got to see the show! Thank you, Thomas, for the HQ video and caps!

the both shows were great i loved them! and she looked amazing... is it me or do you think she mimed because im not sure?? some parts it looked like she was singing and others looked like she was miming what do you guys think?? her answers when the celebrities were asking her questions were great, shes soo funny and truthful she made me laugh! xx

I just watch the whole show.. The performances were pretty good but all in lipsync, not a "GREAT" show.. I would kill to hear a live of Think Twice.. Was great to see RDMH outside of LV.. And i'm pretty glad she keeps her dancer, it's pretty hot! I also think it will be the same performance on the tour for EOM!

Thank you Seb, I see you clearly can not handle this question and needs assitance from a lot higher level of experteese: moi.

 

It was all lipped. All of it! Many songs were lipped to studio tracks, others to recorded pre-recorded tracks (ya you read it right, they were recorded from the live performances of the A New Day show, but they weren't live at all but pre-recorded).

 

Every speech was pre-recorded adn lipped, you can easily notice this on the audience who's questions have been reharsed a many times, and they already know what answer will come.

 

And to proceed, and this may come as a chocker, I advice you to sit down - or handle it in tru SCF manner: cover your ears with your fists and yell "live!-live!-live!-live!" til you reach the bottom of this post - even Céline herself was in a way "lipped". Because the woman on stage wasn't

the super star Céline Dion at all, but the woman you can watch

. That woman is Gypsy Miller, an elite trained Céline impersonator - she will be Céline wherever Céline can't. The real Céline never landed in Europe, the intire TC tour was covered by Ms Miller - hense all the lipped performances.

 

The real Céline was back home in Vegas devotedly watching her son's hair grow.

I knew she was miming it was obvious because when she sang TC on xfactor she could hardly reach the top notes, yet she could reach every high note perfect on the audience programme, so gypsy miller did a celine concert because celine couldnt make it?? i find that amazing, do you think anyone noticed that it wasnt celine? haha! i hope im not watching gyspy miller when i go to see her in may next year! ill demand a refund... haha

 

and i mean come on she needs to cut renees hair he looks like a girl! you cant see his chubby little face lol

I enjoyed watching the show. Céline looked absolutely stunning and everything! BUT I hated the fact that the songs weren't live! It was ridiculous! :pinch:

How can you go wrong with one of the greatest singers int he world. I saw most of this show on You-Tube and it was awesome! I loved the Casears's Palace show, but now that it is over, how awesome that she will be travelling the world again! Gotta love her!
