Am I the only one that thinks singing Taking Chances isn't like singing I'm Alive live? I'm hoping she's not going to have any trouble doing this song live, because quite frankly it's not an easy song to sing.

Never said she's less of a performer, Celine is the best performer there is! I was just saying that it doesn't matter what she does, all people will talk about is a girl who can't sing to save her life (don't get me wrong, I was hooked on "ella ella ella eh eh eh" like everybody else, but that doesn't mean she can sing), but wears the shortest skirts ever. Excuse me for thinking one has to have some talent to worth while...

Alfred Haber Distribution in the US will be spreading the dulcet tones of Canadian warbler Celine Dion to more than 100 countries after picking up international rights to the 2007 Annual American Music Awards.

 

Dick Clark Productions' coverage of the event, which is celebrating its 35th anniversary, will be broadcast live in the US by ABC on Sunday November 18.

 

Alfred Haber has already sold the show to ITV2 in the UK; Star for pan-regional South-east Asia; Foxtel in Australia; TV2 in Denmark; Kanal 5 in Sweden; MNET in South Africa; NHK in Japan; City TV in Columbia; Telemicro in the Dominican Republic; ITC in Iceland; Tel-Ad in Israel; Sony Entertainment Television in Latin America; MBC in the Middle East; Telefuturo in Paraguay; Bangkok Broadcasting in Thailand; and Shant TV in Turkey.

 

Other star performers appearing alongside Celine Dion include Fergie and Rihanna, while Justin Timberlake, Beyonce and Linkin Park are among the nominees.

 

The show will be fronted by late-night talkshow host Jimmy Kimmel for the fourth time and takes place at the new 7,100-seat Nokia Theatre in LA.
