I just want her to do anything other than stand behind a microphone stand for 4 minutes and lip her song. Please Celine, even if you lip, move about and show some enthusiasm.

 

Agree with you, Shaun :yes: She's been performing like a zombie in almost all the US shows with TC. SHe needs to show more of her 'thing' and she really really needs to wear something good like she did in the UK TV shows ^_^

 

But she's been singing live and doing it well in the US!! I don't think we have to worry about her standing still and just doing her song. This is quite different from the "Today Show", even from the Oprah show... really, let's just wait and see and have faith in her.

 

I can't wait to see it!! :clap:

Céline Dion est actuellement à Los Angeles, où elle chantera Taking Chances pour la première fois ce soir, avec ses musiciens québécois, au gala des American Music Awards. Demain, elle participera à l'enregistrement de Dancing With the Stars qui sera diffusée le 27 novembre. Et mardi, toujours à Los Angeles, elle tournera un film pour l'intro du spectacle de sa tournée mondiale de 2008 sous la direction de son metteur en scène Jamie King, qui a travaillé avec Madonna et Christina Aguilera.

 

She will sing LIVE (she is in LA to sing TC for the 1st time with HER musicians).

tomorrow, she will record Dancing With The Stars appearance

Tuesday, she will record a movie for the INTRO of her TC World Tour show with Jamie King

The whole show is about 3 hours.

Someone have guess when Celine will be?

The show is on ABC and starts @ 8pm Eastern Time (7pm Central)

 

Sorry I couldn't be more specific about a certain channel

Check to see what channels are ABC affiliates (through Google or some other search engine)

There wasn't a trio performance scheduled - the writer used the wrong phrasing when he said "accompanied by".

He meant to say that Céline and Alicia were also performing at the ceremonies.

i never thought bout that. great idea, but would they allow her or choose another performer?

Celine might sing EOM with TC. that would be great, this way, she can know the response of the audience before releasing it as a single.

or maybe they will cut beyonce's performance and thats it.

I doubt a second performance will get added to the AMAs. Award shows typically go over their scheduled onair time as it is. The station will just take this as an opportunity to end the show on time or to allow more advertisers to pay them and get more ad airtime. Not to mention the AMAs and Oscars are two totally different types of award shows.

 

I'll be incredibly happy if I'm wrong, though.
