I just finished the album. I'm literally sobbing. I waited so much for this album, since last August. I've dreamed of this day for so long. Finally the day has come. Today could have been the worst day of my life. You wouldn't believe if I told you the ordeal I was put through today in 2 hours time. Once again Celine saved the day. This album is THE BEST f****** MASTERPIECE EVER RECORDED. THANK you Celine. THANK YOU. This is why I've been here for 19 years and I'm ready for 19 more. And thank you for putting a smile on my face today.

During her world tour next year, is she coming to Chicago? Anybody has a clue? Or would any fans from Chicago go to see the Las Vegas show later this year?

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I'm such a blind!! I went to TC just now and didn't see that all the songs were full!!

I've just finished À Cause which is w-o-n-d-e-r-f-u-l!!! The piano in the beginning of Je cherche l'ombre is just b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l!! :wub:

Can someone either translate Berceuse or give a brief idea of what she's saying?

It's the story of a mother who have to quit is child to go working and feel guilty about it, and Celine repeat 'Maman t'aime' who means 'Mommy love you'

Well, here I am again... I finished to listen to it some minutes ago and I'm still in awe!! :w00t:

Talking about the songs I hadn't talked yet:

Les Paradis: No words! Just as perfect as I thought it would be! :wub:

La Diva: My opinion didn't change that much.. The opera part is beautiful but I thought we'd hear only her singing, not anyone else in the back... The song is good but not my favorite :confused:

Femme comme chacune: The same opinion I had before - one of my favorites! The sound of it makes me happy and makes me remember good times! :rolleyes:

Si j'etais quelqu'un: As I had said before... The best in the album for me!! :rolleyes: :flowers: :kicking: :yes:

Je ne suis pas celle: Beautiful ... One of the songs that can't get out of my head since I heard the 55 seconds extract. ^_^

Le temps qui compte: A song that would sound perfect live!! I'd love to hear that!! OMG, I guess I'll have to go to France to attend to one of the concerts there!! :wacko:

Lettre de George Strand à Alfred de Musset : Changed my mind completely... At first I had thought it was not going to be one of my favorites, but after listening to the whole song I must say I fell in love with it... It's so sad and emotional.. The kind of songsI really love to listen... :in_love:

On s'est aimé à cause: Changed my mind completely too!!! It's pure music!! Wonderful, perfect.. well, I don't know what else to say about it... Just that I got decieved by what I had heard previously and now I think it's one of the best in the cd! :wub:

I just couldn't help it! Tuesday is too far away, and I was going insane!

La Diva is just :wub: :wub: :wub: :wub: :wub: Oh god her voice is beyond incredible. I love the intro, and the ending is just breathtaking. This is Papillion on steriods, with an insanely better melody. It's really something else...

I'll post more later, but I can't believe the amazing quality of the songs. A Cause is awesome, and it's other version is a completely different song. I still can't believe they made it sound like such a different song. We're not talking about Sorry For Love 2010, this is some seriously different arrangement; they're both fantastic.

Not as good as i think with the clip, but still very good.. It's sad, i'm not really accustomed with pessimist song on Celine's record..

Really good subject and very touching when we know the story of the writer.. But the melody start a little bit boring and when the chorus comes, it's soooo good!!

Not the best one but i just can't say i don't love it.. I could give a 8.5 for it lol

After listening to the entire album (very very shamefully prematurely) La Diva is still the most incredible song on the album to me. It's one of the most incredible songs she's ever done in my opinion. The operatic intro and outtro is genious. The high notes, the melody, the voice, the opera singing she does at the end is just unbelievable. Her voice was seriously on point, and I wouldn't have thought she could sing that high in her falsetto, it's really just awe inspiring and perfect. It's such a beautiful song, I just can't believe it. I'll listen to the rest in better detail later on. I just can't get over this song...

i dont think shes doing north america. she's giving the rest of the world a chance for once: countries like Spain, China, Switzerland etc which has not had the chance for seeing her. i'm glad Celine is giving these countries a chance. i hope shes going to eastern europe too to Czech republic and hungary and Poland. it would be refreshing to see her go there. i think what inspired her to go to these previously unventured territories is that the fans from all those countries came to LV to see her and she was touched and moved by that generosityof grace so she's reciprocating the generosity. when rene read about how all these fans came from all thses obscure countries it really touched him and prompted him to include these countries in her upcoming world tour. i for one am glad she's doing the extended european , asian tour, and maybe even australia, (hopefully), even though i live in North America, I think it's nice for Celine to visit those countries because all those fans would otherwise never get the chance to see her. And i suspect that she's going on a long hiatus after this world tour. God bless you Celine for being so generous to your fans.... :wub:

I have just finished listening to the entire album.

I am left speechless, enchanted, awe-inspired, and emotionally touched and fulfilled.

The album is an ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE. Personally, this is the GREATEST French album that she has ever recorded. It is a landmark, career album!

Although she celebrates womanhood, this album also celebrates Celine. It is an album that not only makes all woman proud, but all people proud.

Because of this album, I AM COMING TO FRANCE, CELINE! Summer 2008!

I can't speak a word of French, but "La Diva" got me.

alright - so i took my time cause i really wanted to listen to the songs more than once and here r my thoughts :

BEST SONGS ON THE ALBUM :

1 - LA DIVA - 10/10 - people who know me r probably in shock...i rarely give a song 8/10 but guys this song is just , hummm in one word - perfect :giggle:

Benzi produced one more time the best song on the album like he did on SSD .

2 - Je Cherche L'Ombre - 9/10 - probably too high but it's just 1 day after i heard it for the first time LOL . anyway - amazing .

i loved it after i heard the 55 sec clip and i love it much more now :giggle:

it's a soft song yet very powerful with celine's vocals

3 - A CAUSE - 8/10 - could easily get 9/10 but i think 1 long note is missing there....still an amazing number and celine's next no 1 hit - one of my favourites :in_love:

4 - SNRQ - 8/10 - depends on my mood...could get 9/10 easily . yeahh we heard this song long ago already but still guys - one of the best songs on the album and what a great decision to release it as the first single :wub:

those r the top 4 songs - the rest of the songs r good but not anywhere near this ones .

i'll post the rest of my list later...

overall - celine's best album since SSD like we already knew...i still nedd more time to deciede whether it's even better .

i just want to say - thanks celine for giving us this treasure . her voice here is so accurate and powerful and i missed it sooooo much . the lyrics r amazing obviously and the arragments r pure perfection in parts .

i just hope her english album will be anything like this one - it's gonna be a diffrent style and all but i'm talking about the concept , the music , the quality , the lyrics and ofcours the vocals :giggle:

Go quickly...listen to this album!!! I woke up and wanted to listen to On s’est aimé à cause and Berceuse this morning (my favourite two songs on the album) and as I listened my chin dropped as I realised it was the full songs!

My Neighbours are gonna love me - for days and weeks HAHAHAHA

This is without doubt her best french album - Amazing

She well back on top!!

In La Diva, did Celine make the intro OPERA sound? someone sang that right? Cause I knew Celine did try to make the opera sound at the end of the song.
