I'm away from my computer for 2 little hours and what happens?! TC decides to put the full album online and to put the Paris tickets on sale!!!! Freakin' unbelievable!!!

I just listened to D'elles once. I'm speechless. It's beauty it's beyond words, I don't even know where to start. La Diva... her voice... the opera ending... Berceuse brought me to tears. The lyrics are so intimate, so personal, it's like Celine wrote them herself. In fact the entire album sounds like that. Those women really went to the trouble of understanding who Celine really is, just like Jean Jacques did. This is like the emotional version of D'eux It's definately a masterpiece. It was my BDay yesterday. I got my presents today!!!! I'm not going to say anything else, cause I've only heard it once.... and it's really so magnificent I don't know what else to say...

Not to mention I got 3rd row tickets for Celine's first show in Paris, and 1st row tickets for the third show.

Yes, pretty unbelievable indeed, a masterpiece, THE album of the year, The best surprise I coudn't wished, I'm speechless actually, I heard the entire album I'm completely bewitched and proud as always to be by her side.

Every song has her own cachet, My fav are "Je cherche l'Ombre", "La Diva", "Le Temps qui compte" and "On s'est aimé à cause" which is a wonderful surprise. Good night everybody, I'm going to fall into the deepest and most charming sleep

As tempting as it is to listen to the tracks, I can't. Purchasing a Celine album is like a ritual to me and I like to sit down, play the CD, and read along with the lyrics while looking at the insert. I listened to "Miracle" on TC and once I bought the CD I had nothing new to look forward to except the DVD. By the immense joy gleaming from all the posts, this one seems spectacular. A song sounds even better when it's surrounded by wonderful acclaim. Maybe I'll take a listen to one or two tracks then...

The music in Je Cherche l'ombre is really SAD but then it's really different from her old releases.

Just like Rien N'Est Vraiment Fini but I think this one is better!!! We shall see how well this album going to be on France's album chart!!

I said the same thing: No, I'm waiting for my copy to arrive. But how could I not listen??! I'm just not that strong! I had to!

It's all about the struggle she went through when RC was little and she really didn't want to come back on stage again, but she had no choice, cause they had already signed the deal, and then leaving him at home every night to go sing and Caesar's and RC crying when he heard music. Poor Celine.... I'm glad that's all over now and RC is such a rock'n'roll guy!

I think it's the most personal song on the album.

La Diva is also very personal, I think, it's something Celine doesn't often talk about...

OMG! I just remembered. Celine said in a French interview that she'll be bringing RC on stage in France. I thought she was just speaking metaphorically, but now... Can you imagine? Celine bringing RC on stage, literally, and singing Berceuse to him??? And I'd be in the 1st row!!!

You know, I feel for her, but at the same time...what child doesn't experience having their parents go to work everyday? Its normal. I'm not saying its not difficult to leave your child, especially when they're little.

 

This is turning out to be a really sad album. Its almost ironic in a way. She's talking a lot about the price she's paid for fame and for her career with having to leave her child, or waste the precious time she has with her husband. But she's talking about it on a new album that she just recorded. And she's about to embark on a huge world tour.

I've been listening to the songs over and over again and I am just blown away by the perfection of this masterpiece. Céline's voice is incredible...and I can't even begin to describe the emotions I am feeling even though I don't understand most of the lyrics (yet).

My favourites: Immensité, A Cause, Je Cherche L'Ombre, Les Paradis, Femme Comme Chacune, Le Temps Qui Compte, Berceuse. I am so in love AGAIN...well well done Céline!
