as much as i want only new songs for new albums i would like "let your heart decide" on it becasue i want the mass public to be able to hear it! not just collective celine fans who download. it is so great it should be shared with the world!

I don't think Let Your Heart Decide is quite strong enough to make it onto her next album....but I believe that it's the perfect time to record a solid recording of I'm Gonna Love You Forever. I really like this song...it's great. It's grown on me more and more.

The times of TCOML,... are over! Celine has grown!

I hope she will not record so sweet and soft songs...I hope she will record dramatic songs like IACBTMN, fresh songs like ANDHC, and power ballads like I sureender The prayer (ANDHC) or Then you look at me.

I hope celine and her producers will find a new style for her music!

Lyrically,We had to wait A New day has come to see that celine's english vocabulary ist not limited to "love" and "heart" in songs like "prayer" or " rain, tax"...

This album has more meaningful songs than FIY, LTAL and TCOM together. The meaning of goodbye's , prayer, Isurrender, nature boy, the greatest reward, when the wrong one, A new day has come is just smarter than :

 

"I walk the road to reach you" (only one road)

"I take the plane to see you" (next plane out)

"I hear my heart beating for you ( the power of love)

"I wake up everyday for you" (the reason)

"The telephone isn't your smile" (when I need you)

"i see love on the horizon " (love is on the way)

Without forgetting her most funniest songs till now included on FIY : Because you loved me, I love you, Dreamin' of you..(when it comes to lyrics ... of course)

 

Even the themes of One heart are more different and less vapid: Stand by your side (friendship), Forget me not (for her child) and above all Love is all we need which is according to me her most meaningful song to date! And other songs like I drove all night, In his touch, naked or reveal have a sexy side, less insipid than most of her songs!

One heart is for Céline what Erotica is for Madonna!

 

I would like another album like Celine Dion which has her most mature love songs for me.

 

When it comes to Let your hear decide... I don't like this song but it shows on wide her vocal range is : the last note is definately her lowest one ( I think she even goes lower than Mariah Carey... well, when she still was a vocalist, naturally ).Only for this note( ), this song is a jewel.

I don't think they should put LYHD on the new CD unless it is a bonus track on a Limited Edition CD or something like that. I like the song a lot, but I want every song on this CD to be brand new to all of us.

u know i want her to take the time more than anyone and i'd prefer a march 2008 release...but if they release this album around december with this new special and the media blitz the album will burn the charts in the u.s and celine will b able to promote it outside of the u.s. too cause she'll end her vegas gig few weeks after the release , maybe they'll even release the album the day her show ends?

Well it doesn't have to be.

 

She can promote in October & November (the single will probably already be out by then). The end of the show, the release of the DVD, the release of "Enchanting", the TV special and some additional promo will propel the album next/also. In Jan & Feb she has time to really promote the album. And the tour will keep the momentum. I'm sure they've worked it out..

Of course not.. not with the tour commencing around that time. That tour will also promote the album and IF she will do appearances during the tour, the album will also be promoted. I remember "One Heart" also still being promoted quite some time after its release (as for a bunch of other (non-Celine) albums)..

 

I forgot to mention that there will be countless of articles in which albums will be mentioned that are going to be released in the holiday season. The sooner the album is released (in nov), the more sales it could garner, instead of being released in Dec when there's so little time till X-mas..

With the decade fast approaching it's musical climax, 2006 proved to be a big winner for an industry hit by piracy. The live music scene proved to be the biggest release for most acts, with top grossing tours for some of the world's biggest bands, and an explosion in music festivals across the globe.

 

For a recap on 2006, backtrack to our Jan 2006 feature [read: Music in 2006: The big releases]. We're into 2007, and we've got a lot to get through, so strap on.

 

Firstly, let's recap on albums were still waiting on from last year; OutKast's first studio album since 2004's "Speakerboxxx/The Love Below" (which was one of the year's biggest releases) is rumoured now for the spring, and Guns N' Roses failed to deliver on their promise of a winter release for the long-awaited "Chinese Democracy" - which is now scheduled for release in March. Surely it's got to drop this year?

 

A new Metallica set will definitely come out this summer, we're told, along with the Who's first studio album in nearly 30 years. And carrying on from 2006, all eyes are on the UK's biggest and brightest rock hope Radiohead to deliver a new studio album, with a spring release looking likely.

 

Speaking of biggest and brightest in the UK, 2006's runaway indie stars Arctic Monkeys are keeping themselves busy, with a new album also speculated for release in the spring, which bodes well for Easter. Also coming around the same time are anticipated album releases from Bright Eyes with "Cassadaga", Avril Lavigne's "Best Damn Thing", Arcade Fire's "Neon Bible" as well as massive releases by Tori Amos and Nine Inch Nails.

 

In the world of pop, Stacie Orraco is one of the year's early releases in January, with the following months likely to be dominated by releases from Linkin Park, Kaiser Chiefs, Jennifer Lopez's first Spanish language album "Como Ama Una Mujer" and the return of French lovers Air with "Pocket Symphony" on March 5th.

But it's Dr Dre's "Detox" in September and Eminem's as-yet-untitled album which could be the year's most acclaimed. Capping that, Kanye West's "Graduation" has been earmarked for a winter release as well.

 

Finally, looking at the best of the alternative and rock releases, we have The Shins returning this month with "Wincing The night Away", The Good The Bad and The Queen's debut coming also, urban guitar star Jamie T's debut "Panic Prevention" and The Thrills new album expected before spring.

 

In March and April, Fall Out Boy, Bloc Party, Ozzy Osbourne, Courtney Love and Machine Head will all return, as the summer build up continues at pace.

 

One of the year's most hyped releases is likely to be Interpol's "Moderation" in June, which comes after releases by the Stereophonics, Ash, Feeder, Wilco and the return of the 1990's most mighty rockers - the Smashing Pumpkins.
