In a belgian newspaper, there's a review of the album !

If they consider A Cause Techno then I really wonder what an Irish ballad is for them - and actually I already had enough of "Ireland" on the last album

It's also funny they consider Immensité one of the best lyrics from the album, it's full of clichés in my opinion.

The length of the album is ok. Too long isn't good either.

If she grants them to René, she won't get any royalties for her songs apart from the initial fee. All royalties will be transferred to Rene's bank account.

 

Then again she didn't meant it this way - surely René wouldn't ever demand that of her.

Won't help - much too late. But there must be [good] reason for this decision (if it was changed much later on)..

It's not as if the French album would've made headlines in the non French countries though is it? It hardly would've diverted attention from the new English album. French albums have always been released in all major music territories and for Sony's policy to change now is just, frankly, confusing.

Well I don't agree that, and that its stupid! Does anybody at Sony remember how singles from D'Eux and Live À Paris lived together with singles from FIY in France? Or singles from SSDA with singles from LTAL?

 

It will be disappointing and unfaithful to Céline and her french album if they destroy and bury the album when the english album comes out!

She just said what I try to say for a long time... It's funny because, as an English teacher, sometimes I make my students listen to Céline, and even though they don't like it very much, they get extremely happy because they could understand what she said...

And as a French student, I may say I get extremely happy because I can understand her many times!

OMG! I'm going crazy!!! Worried about this sudden decision of theirs, I wrote to Sony to ask about the release here in Brazil, and they wrote me back saying we are going to have the album in the beginning of the second half of the month... Weird

Only if the reason is that they gonna release AND DVD around the same time... May / June and July

OMG I knew she wouldn'T sing on the "Lettre" - it's spoken for the most part! WOW! I surely will love it. And La Diva Céline is showing off the calmness and the power in her voice a la Papillion!

from what i understood those r the best songs(according to the the woman who wrote this review) :

 

LA DIVA - as seb said , she is saying her voice there reminds her of papillion - OMGGG some soft parts but some powerful notes too

 

A CAUSE - the most powerful song vocaly from what i understand , celine is very powerful in this song...it's a techno tune

 

 

LE TEMPS QUI COMPTE - according to the reviewer it's the best song of the album lyricly...and it's about her love to RC.

veneruso is in charge here musicly and it reminds her of "RIEN N'EST VRAIMENT FINI"

 

 

ON S'EST AIMES (A CAUSE) - very calm and very diffrent from the first version - it's hard to even recognize it's the same song.

 

 

the rest of the songs r calm as far as i understand and u all know i looooooooove her powerful tunes usually so those r the highlights as far as i can tell

LES PARADIS - sounds like something JJG wrote . it reminded her of "TOUT L'OR DES HOMMES" .

 

FEMME COMME CHACUNE - again sounds like something JJG created . the text is very poetic .

 

SI J'ETAIS QUELQU'UN - a very calm song

 

JE NE SUIS PAS CELLE - celine tells us that above all she is a person /a woman and not a mega star . she also explains how love is the most important thing in her life .

 

LETTRE DE GEORGE SAND A ALFRED DE MUSSET - it's NOT that sexual text that was posted here few months ago

for most of the song celine is just talking .

 

BERCEUSE - celine and rene charles talking to one another while celine is telling him - "mama loves u"

Celine is not talking for most of Lettre de Georges Sand, you got the wrong. It has a long spoken intro.

He also said On s'est aimé à cause sounds like Quebec pop, I just hope it doesn't sound like a Jean Francois Breau song, the one they played at the beginning of his interview was rather bad.
