Of course she can't as the sampler is copy protected and watermarked so it's impossible to share it. They always find new means to protect the music, you know. We should be glad we got some additional info, tho. I appreciate it all the way.

I love the symbolism of the feather they have used there... As you know the whole art concept was portrayed a little differently on the promo single. There we had a pink feather, a pen, ink, letters... everything from "them". Pink feather was portrayed to underline "love and passion" as a pink feather stands for them. Considering the song is about a great loss, and despair the pink feather meant exactly the love Dorin is talking about in the song!

 

Now you have to notice they use a white one on the cover of the commercial single. A white one means "purification". It also connects with the message of the song as the woman in the song (or Dorin herself who wrote the song when she ended a relationship) needs to let go the past now, she needs to see a light somewhere and hold on to it. A catharsis more or less. It's a great honor for Céline to receive this very song of Dorin's personal notes as if they were removed from her diary. This song has been there for about 30-40 years and now in 2007 Céline sang it with such an extraordinary concept around it. A concept (visual, musical and lyrical) that does the song justice at all events!

 

You see it's these subtle nuances Céline uses in her French career to underline its meaning. It's romantic, subtle, terrific! I love to notice such small details and I love to see the effort they have put into choosing the single and the album cover. You can imagine how amazing the album art and these two booklets itself will be!

I just found out that the ONLY German retail store that has D'elles listed for a release on 18.05 is "Müller Drogerie". For now at least. Thank God I have them nearby my village. I may be ths able to pick it up on friday before the official release date! Gotta phone them one week in advance, tho to make sure! haha

I contacted sonymusic via e-mail, asking if they excluded Sweden from the "selected countries"-list, and if so why. Or if they have just as with A New Day... Live In Las Vegas and 1 Fille & 4 Types delayed the release date in Sweden for unknown reason and without any info about doing so, and why that is.

 

I guess I will only get an answer for the first line, saying yes, since these kind of services only seem to read the first line.

so it's true.

The upcoming Celine Dion album is going to be released ONLY in French speaking countries, this is not what we first thought and informed. The decission is made by the president of SonyBMG Europe and there's nothing we can do. Celine's English album is coming out in the Fall and it will be one of our biggest releases.

Yeah but he or she was clearly wrong. Poland gets the full package on 18th of May.

 

This or that way it's a disgrace that they are not releasing it in other countries where 1F4T has been actually released along with ONCP. I knew D'elles' sales would suffer big time from the English album and it's just exactly what's happening now.

 

So D'elles is being officially released in France, Benelux, Switzerland, Canada and Poland only?
