And we know that 5 of 6 February shows have been canceled and the album has been re-scheduled to May. Now her single will be released in February and maybe they did cancel the shows that Céline can come to France and promote it? thevoice Posted January 13, 2007 at 01:01 PM Posted January 13, 2007 at 01:01 PM (edited) it doesnt make any sense for her to come to france so soon just to promote the first single...the most important thing is to be in france for the release of the album...they cleared February because celine needs to record her new english album+putting the final touch on the french cd+probably shooting a new music video for the first single...maybe she'll record some interviews from vegas but there is no point in coming to france so soon . Thus for the moment, we don´t have any information about an evantual promotion live from Paris. Seb, I have some doubts about Gildas. Yes his song for Celine was different, very nice, fun and it was like some fresh air. But what i know about him is not so amazing. It´s quite predictable music a la Veneruzo. Could you telle us more about him ? I´m really really amazed by all the work, the originality, the artistic direction of this project for what it concerns the choise of the songwritters, their diversity, their talent. That is not just some famous writters who sell a lot of books. We have here a very large diversity, and women whom the style is very different (controversy, politic, love, human relations, tolerance, racism....and even this handicaped girl who writte with her heart beautifull poems...Not to mention this letter from George Sand), and every choise is amazing. Whatever the results, I finally find here what i always wanted. This kind of investigation, this integrity...What makes an artist. That is really a great improvement for her. I want everyone to be aware of this fact. But, with all this improvement, it improves my frustration to see that this work has just be done to the lyrics....How can it be possible ?? Oone more time, this is not a question of result, yes maybe the music will be acceptable or good, but it is more a question of integrity and artistic sensibility. Why doing this investigation to find some amazing songwritters and stop the process here. Haaa....I predict the first single has being the most predictable and cheap song of the album. Quote
