MUSIQUE. Céline Dion va chanter leurs mots

Françoise Dorin , Christine Orban et Nina Bouraoui font partie des femmes écrivains auxquelles la star québécoise a fait appel pour les paroles de son prochain album, « D'elles », dont la sortie est prévue en mai.

 

 

 

 

C'EST un album pas comme les autres que peaufine actuellement Céline Dion. La chanteuse enregistre en effet un disque conceptuel, baptisé « D'elles », autour de femmes écrivains. L'artiste a fait appel à des auteurs québécoises et françaises pour lui écrire des textes.

Parmi elles, figurent Nina Bouraoui, Christine Orban et Françoise Dorin. « Quand on m'a appelée pour ce projet, avant l'été, j'ai cru que c'était une blague, se souvient cette dernière. Il y avait beaucoup de canulars radiophoniques à ce moment-là... Puis l'éditeur qui m'a contactée a insisté parce que nous avons des amis communs. Alors cette fois, je l'ai cru. » Françoise Dorin, qui avait commencé par la chanson, signant notamment les paroles de « Que c'est triste Venise », l'un des tubes de Charles Aznavour, est donc revenue à ses premières amours de manière inattendue.

 

Son retour sur scène en France devrait avoir lieu en 2008

 

« Je ne connaissais pas la musique de Céline Dion, avoue la romancière de 77 ans. J'avais conscience de la vedette qu'elle était, mais j'ai surtout regardé son récital au Stade de France et là, j'ai été soufflée par sa voix et l'aisance avec laquelle elle bougeait dans ce lieu immense. » L'écrivain a donné deux textes, écrits « il y a longtemps et jamais utilisés ». Le premier, intitulé « Et s'il n'en restait qu'une », a été mis en musique par David Gategno, collaborateur de Tina Arena et ex-membre du duo David et Jonathan. La chanson pourrait faire l'objet du premier single. Le second, « A cause », a été habillé par Jacques Veneruso, qui a déjà travaillé avec Céline Dion, en particulier sur son dernier album en français, « Une fille et quatre types ». « Et s'il n'en restait qu'une parle d'une femme prête à accepter tous les clichés démodés sur l'amour : le clair de lune, les lettres, etc., raconte Françoise Dorin. Elle dit : J'accepte d'être ridicule si c'est le prix de l'amour. A cause évoque, elle, l'évolution des sentiments. On s'est aimé à cause de choses bénéfiques et, aujourd'hui, on s'aime à cause des malgré . » Moins bavarde, Christine Orban a aussi signé deux titres mais entend rester discrète. « J'ai accepté parce que c'est une chanteuse admirable et une voix extraordinaire, explique-t-elle. J'aime sa simplicité, sa vérité, son authenticité. Je n'aurais pas pu écrire pour quelqu'un dont je me sens éloignée. » La réalisation de l'album « D'elles » est supervisée par Jean-Jacques Goldman qui, cette fois, n'a pas offert de morceau à Céline Dion. Le titre du disque se présente bien sûr comme un clin d'oeil à « D'eux », leur collaboration commune de 1995, qui comportait les tubes « Pour que tu m'aimes encore » ou encore « J'irai où tu iras » et qui s'était vendu à plus de 6 millions d'exemplaires. La sortie de ce nouvel album est prévue pour mai, avant un retour sur scène en France qui devrait avoir lieu en 2008. D'ici là, Céline Dion poursuit son spectacle à Las Vegas jusqu'au 15 décembre prochain. Selon la production du show, créé en mars 2003, « A New Day » a été vu par 2,5 millions de spectateurs.

Oh, I just remembered: One thing that makes me go like MAD MAD FREAKING MAD is the answer for the following question:

 

What is the name of a producer and composer that wrote MAGICAL music for Lynda Lemay's "Le coq de l'ame"?

And now imagine that: Jean-Jacques Goldman announces that he doesn't have enough ideas for music and lyrics for the next albums of Céline's so he decides to step back and take a secondary role. Instead of their long known collaborator Eric Benzi, they decide to hire Jacques Veneruso and David Grategnogogogononono who both are known to be one of the most predictible music producers in France. Being the perfect contenders for the Max Martin Prix (brought to you by René Angelil Swedish Foundation TM) Céline's team to score yet another hit but what they do NOT realise is that she got her success cuzz of the originality AND honesty in music and lyrics NOT cuzz the rythms of a song were shallow or catchy!

 

It is a termendous mistake on Céline's behalf NOT to let either Eric Benzi or her long time friend Clause Lemay produce a disc that is of such an importance to her! It's a crime to let well written throughtful songs be sucked into some insipid sounds of trash French music producers (Gnaatengononongog and Veneruso).

 

It was a mistake to let Veneruso be on 1Fille & 4 Types as well but I thought since it was a more guitar-oriented album he fit there ok but now as this would be a perfect occasion to introduce some serious piano magic to Céline's French repertoire with the help of her FRIEND Claude Lemay they just hire some trash and let it work with Céline Dion, the same singer that sang vocals on exquisitely produced D'eux and S'il Suffisait D'aimer! The same singer, can't believe what's gotten into Rene's and Céline's heads this time around.

Finally a news that seems really interesting. from those 4 women, 2 are famous for their controversy in politic and in jornalism (Denise and Lise), and one is a new litterature phenomenon (Marie Laberge). Jeanette Bertrand wrote 4 songs for Celine and she has kept just one which is called : "Berceuse a mon fils". Well, again a song for René Charle but this woman will surely have a new vision. Sounds interesting. I want to here those words with the Voice of Celine. Now let´s pray that Veneruso and the other crap producer is the only joke of this album, which still remains unaceptable.

On her next album entitled Of them, which will leave to Quebec and in all the French-speaking countries on May 22, Céline Dion will interpret the texts of these large Québécoises, especially composed for her.

Rene Angélil confirmed yesterday the news with the Newspaper of Montreal. Denise Bombardier wrote the Diva for Celine. Lise Payette wrote I seek the shade, a melody which always refers to the star that it is, in the light. Janette Bertrand, which recently received the singer with her emission, wrote Berceuse for my son to him, and the auteure with success Marie Laberge wrote the Time to him which counts.

 

These four expensive auteures with Céline and Rene Angélil were contacted by the couple and immediately agreed to collaborate.

 

For the occasion, Denise Bomber and Marie Laberge even made the voyage to Las Vegas, question of seeing the spectacle of Celine and of discussing with it. Orban wrote 2 songs so on album could be 13 songs as like on une fille quatres types because we know that there are 12 writers and she has 2 songs!
