The hardest working woman in showbusiness IS NOT lazy. Gee, she's always on the go! The difference with Celine is that when she goes to a studio, she's almost ready to actually record the song. She does some pre-work and she doesn't need to sing the song 40 times. A few takes and that's it. I guess many producers now know that the first few takes are the best, so why waste time??? And about the supposedly "lame excuse" (as some of you have mentioned) from Jean-Jacques Goldman who is too busy to write music for Celine, well.. have you thought that maybe... (just maybe) he might be busy writing music for her new English album?? And please don't be too negative about the new French album. It sounds like an amazing project, something fresh and different. I personally expect a very soft voice from Celine this time. Something à la Carla Bruni... I don't know why but to sing poems or words from French writers, I would expect something very low-key, a quiet voice to highlight the great lyrics... I don't know if Celine will ever sing like she did on Falling Into You again. So many critics keeps complaining that she oversings, etc. Maybe she's trying to avoid it... It's sure not because she can't! Once she's out of the dry Vegas, her voice will get even better. Can't wait to hear the new album!! And please share the news with everyone - with positive comments!!! Quote
