Hello there! I dont know if this has been mentioned already, but the 'Fan of the month'-contest keeps me from being online at Team Céline very much... Its really annoying that you get many messages from people that ask you to vote for them. In my opinion, the fan of the month is the one that sends most messages to other fans. As far as I am concerned, you can skip this contest so that I am able to be at Team Céline again without receiving tons of messages I am not interested in...

 

By the way, I did meet my best friend through Team Céline a long time ago and we even went to Vegas together to see Céline! So I am really happy with the opportunity to meet other fans, its just the contest that I am not too fond of!

Other feedbacks from the fans of the Italian Section:

 

- too much attention to France, Canada and USA appearances, contests, magazines only. There are also other countries in the World;

- the Microsites on What's Going On section are not accurate and some of them don't exist anymore;

- TeamCeline members got no exclusive stuff: just a calendar once a month, and the very short Christmas message from Céline once a year;

- TeamCeline members should be able to buy 1st raw seats, and not only 4th raw seats;

- to give fans the opportunity of buying all the editions of Céline's CDs via Boutique on Celinedion.com.

TC can buy rows 2 - 4 which I think is very good (because it used to be just 3 - 4). First row center will never be up for sale because Celine gets them first. And if she doesnt use them, they get used for either TC contest winners, or VIPs.

 

 

I think there are a lot of changes TeamCeline needs to make. I only pay for now because with the number of tickets I buy per year to A New Day, I'm saving a ton of money. But once the show is over, there isn't enough substance to make me want to continue to pay the fee.

Yeah, row AA is for VIPs only, but I really....Rows BB-DD are the best (especially CC & DD), and it's still VERY close.. If you're AA, Celine is really overlooking you the whole show, her eyes are on the 3rd/4th row the most..

Regarding your question about why there was no fan news for a while and why the newsflashes were not appearing daily...we were experiencing problems with our server which did not allow automatic replications. We attempted manual replications, but even this was not working some days. It appears that everything is back up and running now...both fan news and newsflashes. I will add my thanks to the already long list... It is great to know that celinedion.com listens to Céline's fans !

 

For the site, I think that a new layout would be nice. You don't get lost if only the pictures and colors change but not the navigation system.

 

Other than that, e-mail newsletter are fine, but to receive something by post once in a while, would be great. It would be sooo nice to open your letter box and find a letter from team celine (like a card for Christmas for example).

 

Finally, more items from the Celine Dion boutique in Las Vegas could be available on line for team celine members. There are such beautiful items on sale there, but the ones who can not afford to go to Vegas have no chance to buy them, it is too bad.

I think most of the fans, if not all, would already have the "The Collector's Series Volume One" CD.. Can't you guys change it to a more "exclusive" prize? Thank you TeamCeline for listening to us, the fans!

 

What i thought was really cool were the questions from fans to Celine about the FIY celebration. It makes us feel more connected with Celine! I hope you can do this more often, but then also other topics than an album. Just questions about herself, about RC, about the show etc. etc.

 

Also i hope there can be more contests for people who live outside the US to win a meet & greet. We only have the TC contest every month, but we can never enter other contests, because we are not US citizers.

 

The tickets that we can buy via TC are awesome. I love the BB, CC, DD section orch. 4. The thing that i don't like is that we as fans can never sit on row AA orch 4. It are always people who won tickets in the casino or VIPS. Mostly they don't even like the show, and are just there to do something that night. And we, the fans are there especially for Celine. I think the rose should be given more often to fans. that will make my day!

 

Then my last point, i love it to see the videomessages from Celine. I hope she can do that more often and just tell us the fans, how she feels, about the show, about life etc.

I 100% agree with you Mireille! I stayed in DD seat 401 and it was a great seat but it made me sad have seen in AA row some annoying persons who didn't know a single word of Céline's songs...they were here just to see A SHOW...

 

Plus I'd like to suggest to CD staff to extend the chence to purchase Céline's fragrances to non-TCmembers too...in many countries such as in Italy it's available only the first fragrance so it's not easy for everyone to find them or buy them from other websites...

Hi guys!

 

Well first and foremost I would like to thank TC for offering us great seats at Caesars - it was a dream come true (more than once!) to see Celine up close. Its nice to be looked after. But how do we get AA seats?? I went last week and the two people in front of me did not seem at all bothered that they had front row seats, and they admitted they were not huge fans at all - were they just high rollers being rewarded by Caesars?

 

A New Day Show - any chance of song changes? I know it would take a lot of rehersals, planning etc but I'm sure there's plenty of us here that have been more than once... or four or five or six times? Not only that, surely Celine would enjoy singing something else by now? If you're stuck for a song I could highly recommend "You and I". Oh and why was the bar shut after the show had begun? The TV screen by the bar also wasn't working...

 

I agree with a lot of the others here, the whole site really does need a re-vamp. A friend of mine who is not very computer literate has struggled the first few times trying to sign on to TC.

 

The Boutique does need to "up" their customer care, it does take an awfully long time to ship out any purchases, and perhaps they should offer some kind of expedited airmail service as opposed to the very expensive Fedex? I did buy a friend a voucher for her birthday which unfortunately she never received...

 

I also second that we would all like to have more regular Celine messages, because here in the UK I don't think there ever seems to be any Celine TV appearances or news, so I rely on the internet to keep up to date - especially this forum here! Thank goodness for Koolan and Bellamy to have created this wonderful community!!

 

A New Day section - some more information/photos of the musicians? After all Celine does thank them every night, saying they're part of the family - any way we could send them messages? I'm sure they'd appreciate the fan mail.

 

And finally - I think this would be really great - perhaps a section where other fans could let others know when they are going to Celine? Maybe some kind of after party for the die hard fans who don't want the night to end? A Celine disco?? lol

To buy all the editions of Celine´s albums it´s a great idea, with a special discount for the Team Celine members. In addition, I have many ideas to improve the official Web:

 

1.- To change design of the site, to change of color: clear colors like blue, or green, white or grey. In this way, people will be very happy and to be very comfortable to visit an official Web totally new and full of color.

 

2.- To add more languages for fans that don´t know English or French. For example: Italian, Portuguese (for Portugal and Brazil), Chinese and Spanish. These languages, with English and French are the more spoken languages in the World, and to put new languages in the Official Web would be fabulous!!

 

3.- To sell albums and Celine Dion Magazine in the Boutique section.

 

4.- The idea to make an official forum in the official Web is brilliant. In this way, we have more possibilities of being near Celine or her contacts and they can confirm many rumors. Ah! And in the languages that I mention before.

WORLD TOUR

 

A lot of Celine fans ,in this forum, and around the world wonder what about the next World Tour. Celine has been in Vegas for several years and all the fans who are not able to go there , now can't wait to see her in their countries! A lot of fans(above all a lot of "new" fans who have known Celine for 7 years or more)have never had the chance to see her in concert, just because Celine doesn't do any world tour since 1999, a lifetime ago!

 

I know that Celine extended the Vegas time (unfortunately for a lot of us!) , but I 'd like to know something about the project of a world tour...

Moreover, many people (not updated fans, but also common people, young people who buy cds and listen to music in general....), at least here in Italy, wonder where Celine is, what she is doing, what about her, she seems disappeared : here in Italy she is not sponsored at all, Mtv Italy doesn't broadcast her videos.... and when there is some new release of album...there is no promotion. For many people the last time they have talked about "Celine Dion" , was when "A new day has come" was released

 

We do hope you will be able to let Celine know all these things

I would like to mention one other thing, tho: FAN'S INPUT.

 

Ever since Céline's career has been steered by her management team and particularly the choice of singles has doomed some of her finest album releases to fail commercially. I would like to draw into CelineDion.com's field of attention that it would be nice to at least certain extent to involve Céline's fan community into chosing a song to be released next from a given album. The official CelineDion.com staff could do a poll where fans from all over the world could vote for the next best commercial single candidate and then pass the information over to Céline's team so that they have a REAL WORLD idea what Céline's fans would like to have being release to the worldwide audience.

 

I mean after so many commercial failures of Céline's, it should not hurt to ask for fan's opinions.

Here are some more ideas that I e-mailed to Celine's website team.

 

1) Include a rarities section on the site that includes rare and hard to find songs with the lyrics, a 30 second sound clip, and what album or single they're found on. (Ex. Unison (Single Mix With Rap) - Featuring Frankie Fudge, Love You Blind, Plus haut qui moi, Quand on s'aime (Duet with Rene Simard), Dance With My Father, Piaf chanterait du rock, etc.)

2) Send out a happy birthday postcard to all TeamCeline members for their birthdays. I know it would be a huge undertaking, but TeamCeline members would feel they're getting more for their money.

3) Include video clips of big concerts like The Milennium Concert.

4) Have a special CD put together that is sold only through the Boutique or sent out when members renew (similar to that of the "Coulda Woulda Shoulda/All Because Of You" CD single). Maybe include an unreleased song like "Is Nothing Sacred."
