Are most of Celine's male fans gay?

Well, on all forums I go to (Madonna, Mariah, Céline) most male fans are gay. I say MOST, not all! Also: I've been to loads of concerts. And again: there are so much more gay fans around, when it's a diva concert (Madonna, Mariah, Céline, Janet, Toni Braxton, Whitney...) Of course there are also lots of straight people, but when I go to a non-diva show, the gay people are a minority. Nothing wrong with it, just something I noticed.

I'm straight and I dont give a damn admitting to anyone that i'm a fan of Celine Dion. They've got issues not me if they've got a problem with that. I'm a fan of one of the best recording voices of all time, i'm not ashamed of that.

 

Fair play to ya. Ya its weird the way people assume a guy is gay if they like Celine. Like id say alot a guys trying to be all macho would not even let themselves, give themselves the oppertunity to like Celine, like they would believe they just couldnt be into her music. Silly world alright. Like she is stunning, so i would imagine fellas would fancy her (if straight).

 

But this topic is cool, because I have wondered myself , ARE MOST male Celine fans gay,? not that I care, just a general pondering which has floated across my mind once or twice.

 

So its interesting to hear straight guys can be prowd to say they like her as well as gay. There is no stereotype for woman , I dont think at all. Funny isnt it?!

In most "things" of anything you do, gay people are a minority. It doesn't bother me. Why do straight people find it so important to proof that most Céline fans are straight? If it were true, fine. It seems it isn't, fine as well.

 

I breed chickens. Most people with this "hobby" are straight. I don't make a fuss about it, when someone says: "Most people who breed chickens are straight." I'm at a chicken forum, but I won't start a topic about it. It just doesn't bother me. It's not important. For what it's worth: it's also true that most chicken breeders are straight. Just like it is true that most diva fans are gay. Why is it so hard to accept?

Amen. It's no different than if one were to go to a Toby Keith concert. I would assume the majority of the people there to be straight and probably Republican. Anything wrong with that? No. It is what it is.

for some reason, i don't believe in bisexuality (bi, or whatever you wanna call it). i do believe you can't get attracted (or have a sexual desire) to both males and females.

 

about the topic, i still don't understand how some people can identify someone's sexual preference by his music taste. i seriously don't get it. i have few male friends who are basketball players, BUT listen to Madonna, who's one of the reigning gay icons of our time. and at the end of the day, good music is good music. Celine's music obviously isn't a "for gays and gals only". take my dad as an example, who fearlessly play TC in full volume.

I noticed how some straight fans are so defensive.

Why bother everyone think you're gay, when they know you love Céline?

When I go to a Céline concert I don't feel like a minority.

Céline has a lot of straight man that are fans too. All my boyfriends loved Céline and believe me they weren't gay! Also a lot of men I know like Céilne's music and find her pretty and sexy, more and more over the years in fact. I've always seen a lot of couples at Céilne's shows. Of course, like any other artist some man are there to please their wife but those are the same ones at every other shows that's not a rock band I guess. In the '90 we were a lot of very young couples that went to see her because both loved her. I think those same couples are going to see her show today and younger ones also.

 

I believe eveyone on this and I've heard it before but in my neck of the wood I have to admit that never it was mention here that man who love Céilne are gay. Not that there would be anything wrong with it but It's not the case where I live anyway. Of course there are gays that love Céline and A LOT of woman but I can assure you that you can be a straight man and loving Céline without anyone ever thinking you're gay.

yeah, so like i was looking at this. and it was like three years ago. and btw, i'm totally gay (i was then too, just in serious denial lol). so yeah, and if i read this today, i would be like, wow, he's totally in denial, lol. but seriously, i still love celine just as much as i did then, in addition to madonna, lady gaga, and every one else who's a gay icon. as far as celine goes, however, i don't really think she's a gay icon, i'd consider her more of an icon for everyone, because she appeals to everyone, lol.

I mean it doesn't matter to me! I think her music is for everybody.
